Being a math expert like Greller is vital. If Jordan has 173 yards to the front of the green and the hole is 6 yards on then Mr Greller performs the calculation of 173 + 6 and gets 179.

To every other golfer at the Masters, the names of the holes mean nothing. But when McIlroy makes his way to the 18th at Augusta National a distracting, if not unnerving name creeps into his head. The hole is called Holly. The same name as his hometown sweetheart Holly Sweeney who he abruptly dumped when fame came knocking. Do you believe in curses? Does he?

Yes, a math teacher is a secret weapon. When you get on in 2, then 2-putt, he knows it's 4. And a ten foot putt will hole in two seconds if hit at a speed of 5 ft. per second.
