I am rewatching and rewatching this amv from time to time now for... i dont know... must have been about 7 or 8 years by now. I still love it and I am still coming back. This AMV was the reason l, that I first started Inu x Boku SS. I stopped the video right after the first refrain, because I had already fallen in love with it and was afraid of any spoilers. Right after I watched the show, I came back here and finished the amv. Afterwards I bought the manga. I really love each of the characters for what they are, and its a shame they never even touched the real story behind all that. But yeah Now, many years later, watching the AMV the idk how many times... having the anime under my top choices and the manga being definitely one of my favourites... I kind of have to thank you for your work. You brought me to my little treasure, and each time when I am about to just reread the whole series, I start right here :)
Anzu10694 It crashed Vegas there were so many masks. For the last 20 seconds or so of this video I couldn't open the project media manager and had to just work out of explorer or else it would all freeze haha. But thank you!

Tolnin Haiku doesn't necessarily have to be 3 lines. In fact, traditionally, Japanese Haiku is written in one continuous line. I find it fascinating how I, let's say, understand your videos very well and it's obvious so much thought is put into them. All your AMVs are how I like them, like an essay - with statements, arguments and a strict structure. One can tell for what specific reason a certain scene was used. For example when the song goes "but all the other girls" twice you're supposed to show Miketsukami being close with other girls but he only has a single scene resembling that. You used it the 2nd time because if you did the 1st then people will be displeased the 2nd yet in the other way around their lowered expectations will be raised and the viewers will be pleased. That's correct, isn't it?
+sofitssofi Yes that was my logic haha. As a general I don't like to repeat scenes unless for a very specific reason. For example I do use their pinky promise twice -- right after he is with the other girl. The thought there was that she was upset as he broke her promise to her. In that case she is flashing back to the promise, so its okay to use it twice. You may notice I also did lyric sync the first time "All the other girls " shows up. He's saying "All the other girls...they try to chase me" The footage however shows him chasing her, showing that she isn't one of all the other girls. She's different. When it shows up the second time, I used the clip of him with the other girl to transition into a sadder part where she doubts his feelings/ her feelings. Makes a more comprehensive story arc that way! But yeah I liked your comment a lot! Glad people can tell what I am trying to do with my scene choice!
Vivifx Because of the astonishing thought process behind each of your videos you're my fave AMVer and nothing makes me more happy than seeing you edit with animes I'm fond of. Btw, are you working something related to video editing or this is just a hobby?
sofitssofi I am actually a video game designer/QA Analyst for a gaming company professionally - which is what I wanted to do XD Before that though I worked as a generalist for an ad agency, and that involved some video editing for web ads. In my freetime now I've been working on my artwork, prepping for artist alley etc and my independent game - in which I will probably use some of my video editing skills for cutscenes and the like ^^
Vivifx You have my ideal future! XD I also tried many times to create games and use my video editting skills for the cutscenes, plan on using video editing in ads and I used to often make drawings assuming they'd be good enough to be used in my game ideas but it all fell apart. My respect for you is skyrocketing even more! >u< Keep up the great work!
