AMV about TV is the first video in the timeline -- in which Kyon wishes that he could the star of his own show. You will then notice he shows up in every AMV after that haha, and even is the star of Anime 101. In story order it goes AMV About TV -> Pony Note - > Anime 101 -> Moe Moe Rebellion -> Ship Happens. The timeline can actually be seen on one of the Anime 101 chalkboards haha. Also in Anime 101 there is a poster advertising the MLP Fanclub which Light is president of. There are other references.
Anime does have a very real and very disturbing habit of using teenage girls (sure they're fictional, but still) as fanservice and sex objects for the straight male fans. I can't even enjoy shows I used to think were very feminist because I started to see the moe and loli implications. I thought Kill la Kill would be cool but the first episode grossed me out too much. Anyway, this is a really great video and really fun to watch, and even if you made it as more of a comedic thing, I see it as a real commentary on how women and girls in anime are treated. Nice work!
So if I have the story straight moe girls were tired of being moe and started a rebellion by attacking moe lovers. Then moe lovers attacked back and were winning until moe girls used Yaoi as a last resort to win the war.
