Awww Irene, thank you, and thanks for joining in listening to us waffle. You are right about the rescue work being sad and stressful, but I can’t help but carry on, I feel so guilty if I’m unable to help, that sadness is worse. Well done for all you have done and continue to do, you’re probably more active than a lot your age because of it. Merry Christmas to you both too, and I’ll nag them both to do more videos next year 😊
You two are a compendium of Christmas films! I’ve already watched two I had no idea existed! Christmas vacation 2 seems to be hiding in some obscure channel, but I’m on to it!! Thanks for your brilliant videos!
Hi guys, I have watched every video of yours Damon for years and Ricks but your both doing less and less now ☹️. I’m sorry but my memory now is bad so I am no good at the films quiz. You’re such a lovely couple and the work you do is commendable. We used to rescue everything from ducks, geese, hens, owls, dogs, cats, horses, fish etc and managed to keep most until the end of their natural lives. But I’m 78 now and Keith is 84 so we only have two cats now and wildlife in the garden. It’s good what your doing and what we have done but it also brings with it much sadness and stress. please look after yourselves and have a Happy Christmas and New Year x
I can't believe you haven't seen The Polar Express! Whenever we went to Disneyland Paris for Christmas, I would watch it on the Eurostar. It's actually a really good film and on my Christmas Eve list. We have been busy working on our Christmas presents for each other. It involves keys, but I don't think we will be able to exchange contracts in time. My question is: as a child, what was a must-have gift for you every year that made it feel like Christmas? For Sam, it was a toiletry set; it just wasn't Christmas without one. For me, it was enjoying my Cadbury Selection box from Father Christmas for breakfast while reading my annuals. I remember the Beano -I wasn't too keen on the Dandy, but I loved the others available at that time: Cor!! (with the gorilla) and Whizzer and Chips (with the snake). I vaguely remember Topper and another one called Beezer. My favourite characters were definitely the Numskulls in the Beano, although they originally appeared in Beezer. Sam says she recalls them being in Dandy, so they have certainly made the rounds. As a very young child, I would eat sweets from my Pez dispenser and imagine they were building bricks for the Numskulls. Now, I'm off to watch *Miracle on 34th Street... You missed me 😂😂😂😂😂
Your house lights looks nice. For some reason my memory isn't great when it comes to movie lines.. I worked for a local humane society for over 10 years..I miss working there, I always enjoyed seeing the dogs and cats.. Hope someday to find something with animal welfare..
Drove around looking at Christmas Lights.. there is a local neighborhood that goes all out.. lights going across the street and almost every house / yard with lights all over. Looks like something disney world would do, but free to drive around. They are actually on Google maps.. Blackhawk Christmas display. In Jacksonville, FL
Excellent work, keep em going 🙏. You looked blooming frozen the pair of you 😬. You’ve stumped me today with the film I’m afraid 🤦♂️. You’ve asked what I’ve been doing sooo…. I’ll tell you. Got the suitcases out ready for packing to commence🤣trying on clothes that seem to have shrunk, looking for slightly larger clothes on line🤪😂, oh and baking another 3 dozen mince pies for children that can’t stop eating them 🤷♂️🎅🏻🎅🏻
It was cold 🥶 I know the feeling about shrinking clothes, very annoying and nothing to do with mince pies 😂 Enjoy the packing at least there’s a holiday at the end of it 😊
I’ve seen it but had to Google it lol! On the weekend went to see Festival of Trees. You vote on your favourite decorated tree and donate which supports BC Children’s Hospital Foundation. Lots of wonderful themes. Other than that working, crocheting while watching wonderfully, cheesy Hallmark movies!! Also watching Black Doves on Netflix!! Wow!! You’ve probably already seen it. It’s violent but gripping and I’m hooked!! Three more episodes to go!!
Oooh a festival of trees would be great, we have a forestry place called Westonbirt about 40 mins away, it’s lovely but expensive, and gets very busy. I love the Hallmark Christmas movies, I may throw a couple in as there are fans 😉 Have fun watching the horror series 😮 I’ll look it up 😂
Talking of Annuals for Christmas, I remember Beano and Dandy (which one was Desperate Dan in?). There was Rupert the Bear but I don’t remember any female oreantated annuals. Perhaps it was because I had two older brothers.
Clearly, I need to see more movies!! I'll also try to remember to post a comment! Sometimes, I'm watching while doing something else, and I don't get to the keyboard in time!
Hi I think the character is aunt bethany my daughter has same calender our fav film christmas vacation I got a fishing advent calender from my daughter has spinners flies and lures great vid all the best donny
I’m not sure on it being Aunt Bethany as she has grey hair, this one is blonde. Once they’ve all been revealed we’ll know who’s who as I’m guessing the main characters will be included. A fishing advent calendar, gone are the days when it was a Christmassy scene or a chocolate if you had a posh one. Do you get maggots in yours? 😂

I know this one as my grandkids make me watch it over and over again and we all watched it yesterday, It's the polar express
Yeah yeah, you love it really 😂
@GlosJen It's quite a good film but after 4 or 5 times in one day with the kids singing along at the top of their voice it gets a bit much 😂
Clearly, I need to see more movies!! I'll also try to remember to post a comment! Sometimes, I'm watching while doing something else, and I don't get to the keyboard in time!
Haha, don’t worry I am the worse for not commenting, I’m not that great at watching either, always get distracted by something 😂
No the Mr fusion was just an add on pack
Ohhh now I think I've heard that quote but having said that.... it could also be quite generic fir a christmas movie
