You will need to put holes in the wood. So your mattress can breath. I had no holes in mine it was fine for a couple of years but more recently it started to stink. The heat of your body and sweat can go through to the wood and eventually you get a smell of glue. There can be formaldahide in the wood. Some one on reddit who worked with plywood said his shed started to smelll like cows piss or something like that. I have bored holes in mine with circular saw and ive given it two coats of zinner aqua bin its the green one. Water based and easy to apply not to smelly. I used johnston paint for the next coat the statin quick dry but didnt like it. I bought fleetwood statin quick dry and its a much nicer paint. I will probably put one more coat on it and hopefully that will do. Then please God i dont have any further problems. You can also get a breathable mat that you put between the wood and the mattress. If you have any suggestions let me know

Father Christmas aka Santa.. no he stopped bringing me gifts.. so nothing left out for him.. On a funny note I asked Google if Santa would bring me anything.. it replied as an adult I should know that gifts from Santa were from my parents.. I was shocked to find that out.. LOL

Good job on saving Santa.. Thanks for taking the time to make these videos. I enjoy watching each year. I know it is time consuming making a video each day.. Hi both of you, I agree with you Damon about your favourite and least favourites. You didn’t mention the puzzle that you both did. We don’t have grandchildren so our Christmases now are much quieter. The family gets together for nice food, warm fire and good tv. Thank you for sparing the time with us which we know is very busy.You make a lot of people very happy. Great work mate, you’ve got some patience 😂. Had a day of it today …. Brilliant start as it was our grandsons 5th birthday party (birthday on the 25th🤦‍♂️) . I know what the item is! I actual cheated and found the proper advent calendar being opened. It is a pot of Jam/Jelly. The front should be a label saying "Jelly of the month club. This certificate is presented to Clark Griswald." Now it makes sense.🤯

No idea on the movie quote. And no idea on Jen's advent calendar piece. At first I thought the front may be a really badly made fireplace because of the two squares on the front and it has some blue and white tinsel on top... but wrong shape; wrong colour; wrong movie and worse... The world's most 'wrong' advent calendar. Complain to Amazon again, you can insist that the live chat be escalated and you will get your money back. Last time Sam did this, Sam received a full refund and they sent us an afternoon tea hamper as an apology. She escalates and demands it is resolved until they crack. They usually cave in as they can't handle the same thing being repeated again and again.

The movie quote is from Scrooged. Bill Murray says it when he is below the sidewalk. When I moved to Surrey, BT gave us the same number as the predecessor (very common when you exchanged properties across different area codes) he was a 24 hour emergency plumber! It was a nightmare. We would get calls at all hours of the day and night. People could phone to say that their taps were leaking. I would respond "oh dear!" And put the phone down. Unfortunately he also owed money. We would get debt collectors calling; we would say we are not that person, too which they would ask our address and then not believe that we weren't the same person. We very quickly changed our number. I also remember that because we were ex-directory, BT wouldn't tell us what our phone number was. They would write to you with the details. You would have to write down the number of a call box and phone it to find out your line number. Obviously it would be a lot easier now with mobile phones. When I did finally get one, I had to walk past the phone-box to get a signal. If I needed to use my mobile when it was raining, I would take shelter in the phone-box. Back then, I thought mobile phones were a waste of time, and that they would never really catch on. I now have a Bluetooth connector that I plug my old rotary phone into to be used with my mobile. Takes forever to call someone, but I love it! What's your favourite gadget and why?
