Ignorant parenting.. how can you not be aware that you're ruining other people's enjoyment?? If the kids hysterical, it's clearly not enjoying the Tank show... so for the consideration of others, take the kid for a walk! Hearing the mum say 'shut up' just about sums up the kind of people we are dealing with though..
Though the gun is capable of hitting those distances with a 20-50% chance I highly doubt a Tiger would even find itself engaging Shermans at that distance unless it had 3000 fuckin metres of OPEN TERRAIN. And that's implying these tank battles between Shermans and Tiger tanks happened enough for that to happen, which they didn't seeing as after action reports tell us that PROPER tank BATTLES between the Tiger 1 and Sherman only happened about 3 times, 5 at most but I've only read up fully on 3 reports. The 3 reports I have read up on: 1. Sherman tanks defeated a Tiger 1 2. Pershing tank destroyed by Tiger 1 3. Sherman's ambush a Tiger 1 tank being loaded onto a train. The Tiger 1 was a good tank, but German tank ideology proved completely wrong when Allied tanks were breaking through German lines in the thousands while little German tanks were in operational status to fight back, those that did were either destroyed or abandoned by their crews after either terrain issues, reliability issues or lack of ammo/fuel. You need to understand that by 1945 Germany was running out of all materials, even paint to camouflage their vehicles! So many tanks came of the production line was terrible reliability and could not see much action before being knocked out or left by their crews, not to mention the maintenance issues out in the field that rendered getting German vehicles back to friendly lines impossible, especially on the Eastern Front. Also, yeah this battle in this video, like the one in Fury is a bit "iffy". The fact of the matter is, the whole myth about "it takes 5 shermans to take out a Tiger" is just wrong, no battles like this took place in France or Germany seeing as the majority of the Tiger tanks were destroyed by Allied air or like I said previously, left by their crews due to maintenance issues or lack of fuel. So to reiterate, these types of tank battles, where the tanks blindly rush the Tiger to "get on its ass" didn't happen. Though German tanks were excellently made and striked fear into their enemies, they were just out numbered and in some cases, out matched by Allied Armor. Be sure to read up on these kind of tanks on old report websites or talk to historians rather than watch documentary's, the fact of the matter is, channels like the "history channel" and most other documentary channels have a tendency to lie to their viewers... "Aliens"... In the words of a famous historian, "Though facing these heavy brutes (Tiger 1's) were extremely rare, they would give you a fight you would never forget."
It was like a movie set. Similar to Battle of Berlin, where USSR from east and other Allies from west surround the Berlin, Rheistag was the last place to capture. The last scene was similar to Fury movie, in which the Sherman flank the Tiger, and destroy it. After this Germans surrendered unconditionally to the Allies.
Why didnt one of its parents take it away from there? It was clearly scared of the machines. Fuck sakes you could hear it over the air raid sirens hahahahhahah.
if you know it's ganna be loud... why bring kid?
