I see the opportunity and I take it because I know alot of times there are crappie under there. Just like today I went out and fished a pile of trees that were literally 8 guys there before I got to fish there. I fished down stream and came back 30 minutes later every one was gone and I went there and dropped down boom just like that. Thanks again for sharing your adventure out fishing💥👍💯🔥🔥
Slamming trash heap slabs. Gotta love the creativity! Great vid. Reminds me of the retention lakes growing up as a kid slamming fish under the trash in the corners. Have caught 10+ pound catfish that way too.
Thats my favorite way to catch them right there! That brings back so many memories of old Marina Del Ray on Lake Ray Hubbard when I was in high school. We use to take a old retractable pool net pole with a 90 bend on the end and clear out holes in the weed mats. Once the all the holes were created we would go back to the first hole we made and start dropping jigs. Caught tons of spawners that way! I actually kept that pole in my boat up until about 2 or 3 years ago and then took it out because I really dont fish that way much anymore. Just dont have the shoreline vegetation we used to have.
That was fun just watching you pull those crappie out of that drift stuff. It’s been a while too since I fished a spot like that…keep those great videos coming and be safe out there.

@@DMZnightmare my boat is not a garbage hauler boat unfortunately. I do protect the places I go everyday by taking out what I bring with me and never leaving trash. Just because I don’t pick up all the trash I see doesn’t mean I don’t do my part.
