me too, its the first place me and a good friend that passed away had ever fished at together.. we had a good day, and fished together alot after that.. he had previously hired a well known guide service on the lake, and they didnt do well at all.. which kind of shocked me, after seeing thier big hauls.. so I told him heck, lets go see what we can find, and the bridge treated us good,, there were 3 boats just going from piling to piling, all catching fish,,, it was pre spawn and they were moving onto the piles in waves.;; no single pile held alot, but they just kept coming .. doing just as you described, making a pit spot to feed up on shad, before moving to the spawning grounds.,.,
I have that fillet knife and I LOVE IT! Battery lasts a long time and cuts really well. I'm glad I am not the only one that can't tell what side of the bridge column the fish on with my livescope. I thought something was wrong with it. Great video.
Love the channel but it's a couple months early for pre spawn , you might want to bring a net and net some of those bigger fish,I've lost some nice one trying to swing them in the boat KEEP ON FISHING
It's pre spawn here in East Texas. Not everywhere will be in the same pattern. Nah, I like to keep it sporty. If they get off, that's ok. Thanks for watching!
That rapala R12 great knife i had one over a year know been the best knife ive ever had... and yes more of these and hey i spotted docks on that lake 👀 lol ...great video man 👍
Well. . . I was going to THAT bridge tomorrow, but after seeing your catch, I may pass. I got skunked at a smaller lake east of there today, so I thought I’d hit the bridge pylons. Loved the Cook. Always makes me hungry. Tomorrow’s supposed to be nice, so I’ll probly end up going. Great vid, as usual.
I have kayak with a trolling motor with spot lock. My motor goes crazy when I'm under bridges. It won't stay still. Plus I have the same problem with livescope around pillars.
I've fished 2 lakes this week and got 1 pig 3lb bass.. one lake has all the fish together in the channel 15-20ft down(All I can do is spider rig in my yak) and the other I could not find any shad I had to just cast to points/ledges for 5hr for 1 fish. I'm stumped this water needs to warm 😬
Pecan has been good for me iykyk. I35 turned off like a light. I tried jig n bobber but the white bass didnt want that presentation they wanted it movin a little faster.
I really like this type of video with you ketch, kleaning and kooking them up. DISLIKE those hour long ones at different places, lost interest and don't go past 20 minutes.
That fish looks awesome. Nothing better than fresh caught and cooked Crappie!

It usually is good this time of year but not this year for some reason so far. I’m ready for that water to warm up! Today felt like spring
Good luck out there!

Really enjoyed video!
Use a deep fryer with a basket. They are their own heat source good to do on patio and they cook more evenly. FYI doesn't cost much either.
Need to adjust your side imaging speed. Idle is way faster than your graph is. Great video!
Great video!
Thanks Paul!
Looks tasty
BAKED parmesean crappie is great alternative Kid. not near as messy and some folks don't like fried.

Rapala is actually pronounced Rapala. Some say Rapala, Rapala, or even Rapala. But it’s definitely Rapala 😅
