Today's video is the 3rd in the series of videos, I am producing on the magnum opus of Iqbal, The Reconstruction of Religious Thought in Islam. in the 1st lecture of the book we discussed Knowledge and Religious Experience and what happens during a mystic experience. The 2nd lecture takes the lead from the first lecture in which Iqbal takes the intellectual test on Religious experience. It is the most breathtaking work of religious wisdom I have ever read. It will clarify a lot of your concepts pertaining to the following.
1) Proof of Existence of God
2) Concept of Time
3) Concept of Kun Fayakun
4) Concept of Taqdir
5) Ultimate Purpose of Life

Excellent. This is what Dr. Abdul Salam also believed in that scientific knowledge is part of deen and takes closer to Allah Almighty. Read his speech Islam and Science delivered at UNESCO in 1984
But our mullas called him Qadiyani I don't know how to get our nation out of this.
@@noshadar Pakistani Mullahs (majority) are the most dangerous people on earth who have done dis-service to the name of islam around the world. They are hypocrites and can do anything for wealth and power. Read the holy Prophet (pbuh)'s hadith about mullahs of our time. Read Mazhar Arafat articles on Blasphemy laws. Listen to Ghamidi on blasphemy laws, and you will get to know how mullahs have told lies about our religion to befool people. Read about Hadood laws too. You will get to know that they are fake people and hypocrites. Moreover, in the sunnah of Holy Prophet the definition of Muslim is very broad, and you can not excommunicate anyone from Islam who believes in Kalimah tayyeba, nor did our Holy Prophet (pbuh) excommunicate anyone. All these mullahs are political and politics divides. Muslim ummah is at its worst because of these mullahs. Our salvation is only in unity as commanded in the Holy Quran. Without that we will never recover our glory. These mullahs serve the Western interests by keeping Muslims divided. So, wake up and read everything first hand not mediated through mullahs. You will be shocked to discover truths. God less you with light of truth, amen.

Think rationally then you'll find that it is a disaster specially for person like me who is finding answer about God and inheritely he's a Muslim but turing an athiest. Very interesting, I put a lot of effort in thinking about existence of God and after a lot of reasoning i came to the same conclusion of iqbal that logic or reasoning or thinking is limited and to underestand existence we have to look inward of intuition/spiritual concepts and it's beyond this reality we perceive, not gonna lie it's a genius idea and only an open minded person with unlimited thinking capacity can see this

This was definitely a heavy one, but was an immensely enlightening experience (if I was to call it anything but that).
From my effort of understanding, if I was to sum it up in a line, it would be, 'Your concept of God is basically a reflection of the concept that you hold about yourself.' Which indeed is nothing but a mere perception. If to pin point it from the western self help industry, we get to see their recommendations some way or the other present the concept of self love to be the ultimate factor for success, and if you relate this to a the perspective of Islam which teaches to love and believe in Allah because He lives within us.
Another point from the video before this one that 'Belief in the absence of evidence is faith' is what puts it all together. To possess an intuitive thought process is in itself a search for the Divine being, for indeed, we only know of what exists in the serial time rather than the pure duration which is beyond the scope of human understanding.
Regarding taqdeer he says nothing is fixed. We can create our reality.

Thank you so much for this. I started this book a year ago and never reached chapter three cause I read chapter two atleadt 3-4 times and was still struggling to comprehend. I still have some questions though. Plz host a question and answer session after the last lecture.
