About Stacklands:
Stacklands is a village builder where you stack cards to collect food, build structures, and fight creatures.
For example, dragging a 'Villager' card on top of a 'Berry Bush' card will spawn 'Berry' cards which the villagers can eat to survive!
Sell Cards 💰
You can also sell cards to get coins which you can then use to buy Card Packs. Packs contains multiple cards that you can use to expand your village. Every pack has a focus such as Cooking, Farming or Building.
At the end of every Moon you'll need to feed all your villagers - so make sure you have enough food, or your villagers will starve! 💀

Expand your knowledge by finding Idea Cards. An Idea Card will tell you how to create new cards, for example: stack 2 Wood, 1 Stone and 1 Villager to build a House.

As someone who has fully played through stacklands, that was a really painful moon end to watch selling the shed.
It was painful enough that I stopped watching.
Also, he says he sells the campfire and house because he has more than enough food. Why not just sell the extra food?? lmao

the game said that if you dont feed your colony, they gonna dead, and i think its normal for your 1st run to keep more food than what you needed, because we still dont know what to do...
how long of a game would you say it is?
@@TheAruruu i bought and played it yesterday, I took my time, but after three and a half hours (and one nearly extinction) I had played it through (meaning every achievement and every recipe unlocked/build once).
Really liked it though and might play it again.

Yeah he has way more food cards than he needs but instead he sells other more useful cards a very architect move from him.

the shed is very useful and the coin chest is useful the coin chest stocks your coins you dont have to put out the coins to buy something you just have to put the chest with coins to the spot on what you want to buy and the shed gives you more card storage so u can have more cards

You dont have logic you said that chest is useful. You only have to put the chest and do not have to remove coins from it but if we don't have chest where you remove it from you only have to put the coins so chest is something dumb.

@@brennanruiz1803 coins don't count for max card, but once you start getting a lot of coin, managing the space without the chest is a pain...

fun thing to do with the coin chest is to place it under the sell area. everytime you sell something the coins spawn on top of the coin chest and auto go in. then you just drag the chest over what pack you want to buy and the proper amount of coins are used.
Spinning the coins reminds me of when you beat a game of spider solitaire and all the decks bounce across the screen

They don't even have to be especially smart; it's common sense. They give a key to a RUclipsr (which costs them *nothing*) and if the game interests me when said RUclipsr posts a video of it, I'm going to go buy it for myself. And 1,000 other viewers are too.
Compare the ones that *pay money* for a RUclipsr to start a stream with "this video is sponsored by APEX: World of Shadow Legends which you can go and play FOR FREE" and have exactly 0.0% chance of getting me to do so because a) I still have no clue what your game is actually like to play and b) the middle panel (and hover text) of xkcd 870.
This looks like an amazing game, I hope they port it to mobile! The "Plank" object looks exactly like the cartoon character named Plank in Ed, Edd, and Eddy

Cards have important details written in the bottom left when you hover over em, including the contents of packs you're about to buy. It even tells you how many new cards you've yet to discover in each pack
Edit: Also, the coin chest is really useful to store all your coins (and pretty damn satisfying to use), as you can hover the coin chest over a pack to buy it like you would with coins (of course given that your chest has enough coins in it)
Coins don't count as cards... cuz otherwise selling cards to get rid of em would make no sense heh
Really you just need to pay more attention to all the UI you have available to you -_-

Watching him sell the sheds hurt. "I have to many cards!", sells the thing that lets him have MORE CARDS. Then he realized it afterwards.
Watching him sell perma cards just to keep a huge stock of like 20 food he doesn't need and can gain back easily was painful each time

It’ll probably come to at least iPad eventually - I’m always a bit surprised more devs don’t prioritise mobile for these types of games though - seems the perfect fit.

Coming from someone who currently has a rabbit (and has had rabbits most of my life) I can confirm, they are indeed floppy poop machines. They also randomly decide to chew on absolutely anything at all for no reason you'll ever actually be able to work out...you can give them all the stuff in the world to chew on, but nah, sometimes they really just want to get out and chew some stuff they haven't chewed before :P
you should never open a pack at the end of a moon if you already have to sell cards because that just increases the amount of cards you have to sell.
And a little tip for later: if you stack things like rocks/trees/berry bushes and add a villiger to that stack he will mine/chop the whole stack. that way you dont need to assaing him new everytime he finished one card
Blitz tried the stacking with a villager and it didn't do anything.
@@paulbaker9687 OK don't know last time I played I had a villager constantly farming berry bushes but I didn't play for some time so maybe they patched it
@@dernoob2493 I think it's because you can do it with some things but not others
Eg: 1x wood -> stick, 3x wood -> plank. If you stack 6 wood, do you want 6 sticks? 2 planks? 1 and 3?
On the other hand, the only thing you can do with a berry bush is harvest berries, so it's "stack safe"; 3 bushes? you can only do one thing, so it does just that
@@MrMe917 yeah that's why I wrote in my original comment 'rocks/trees/berry bushes' but as far a I remember it's possible with either a stack only made of trees or rocks or bushes and not mixed
@@paulbaker9687 Did Blitz try resource nodes? Based on your comment, I doubt it as black resource nodes are the only ones that allow you to work on a stack.
Looks to be a fun game but I can imagine as time goes on, things get more and more complicated and considering how strange portals appear, there may be a point where you have to tech up quickly or else you'll be overwhelmed by enemies. Or there may be enemies that go about destroying your stuff so you need to make sure to have more than one of each building?
I hardly 'like' videos but I often like yours to help show support Matt. I really hope to see more of this game!
This makes me remember an early mobile game called "Alchemy" which had no purpose but combining things to make more things. I remember starting the game with the 4 elements and at one point I was combining Mario with a One-up mushroom to get 2 Marios lol

I love the concept for this game and it reminds me of another I think you would enjoy Matt, it’s called Little Alchemist! Very similar concept of combining items to create new items! Keep up the good vids bro

carrots are the best food source once you get alot of farms (by the way farms are an upgrade to gardens ands soil), it carries you till the end (farms are crafted by 2 planks, 2 brick, 1 soil, 1 villager)

This is an amazingly fun game, im currently on moon 52 and pumping out stew at ridiculous rates, my only gripe with it is the fact that it once took me 10 moons to get 1 iron ore with 3 mines constantly running but i think thats a side effect of the RNG aspect, would recommend to anyone who wants it

This reminds me of a little flash game (that became a phone app too) that was called Doodle God. You start with the traditional Greek elements (earth, wind, fire, water) and you combine them together with the goal of creating ‘everything.’
Everything was represented by about 250 unique cards but they were all discovered by trying different combinations of all the other cards you’d already discovered. Not really engineering but interesting for sure

Amazing game. Three days ago this video came out and as I was scrolling youtube at that moment, i just watched this video and (literally) after that, jumped on my steam store and purchased this game. I've been really enjoying playing it.
