I appreciate that you use lots of the same products because that’s how lots of people live. We buy things and then use them. We don’t get stuff as promos or maybe can’t spend money on makeup to always try new stiff. It’s nice to be able to use the tools And products I have! I loved the dupe idea as well. Thanks for all your work!
Cara K - I totally agree! I can’t afford to buy a new concealer or eyeshadow palette every week just because some You Tuber loves it. Thank you, Shelbey!
I've heard several times that Flower Beauty Spiced Petal is a dupe for the CT Pillow Talk lipstick, if you were looking for a dupe for the actual lipstick. Thanks for the tip on the liner! I love dupe videos!
I absolutely love your no nonsense approach. When you find a quality dupe you are more than willing to share it. Not all of us are sent free makeup and we live on a budget. This type of video for me is so appreciated! Thank you, Sweet Girl! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I love your intro “Hi Welcome back” short succinct and to the point. Your reviews are great and I love the way you do a soft smoky eye with powder shadows. And I am now more interested in cream products thanks to you!
So do I, like her introduction "Welcome back" very much. Got tired of a TV show we were watching so I put her (this video) up on the smart TV on the big screen to show my hubby what this girl Shelbey is like, cause I mention her now and then. So we are watching her on the big screen right now.. I'm going to show him one of the older videos from years ago, after this☺ We miss our adult daughter very much and enjoy nice young people, like Shelbey and our children and their incredible energy so much🤗
Great video . The Flower Beauty blush bombs are a great cloud paint alternative as well. I’m not sure about the colors but the formula is great and the price even better than the PF.
The No.7 Lift and Luminate powder as well as the Flower Beauty pressed powder have a very similar texture and finish to Charlotte Tilbury‘s powder! Also Flower Beauty Spiced petal it’s a very close color to the pillow talk lipstick. I would just love to see a video from you about drugstore and luxury eyeliners! I am just now hopping on the eyeliner train and figuring out they are more than just lining the eyes with a stark, dark line!
I went through and unsubscribed from a lot of beauty channels and unfollowed a bunch of beauty instagrams because I felt like I was tempted to spend my money on everything. You're one of the few I still follow and I love watching your videos because I never feel like I need to go out and buy something new afterwards! I did get the Milk bronzer thanks to your recommendation and I love it!
@@amandadobbs8637 LA Girl has affordable mixing pigments to change color and undertone, you can basically alter any cream/liquid/mouse product with them, even when the lightest shades are too dark and the darkest shades are too light 👌
This particular line I was able to find a match but usually I need to mix 2 shades to get what I need. Causes it to be more expensive that way, but at least I can then adjust for charging seasons when my skin changes a little.
I discovered the Physician’s Formula Blush Elixir about 3 weeks ago. ILove it! It blends so easily and looks so natural. I just love the Apricot. It’s not as orange as the peach
Thank you for these fantastic dupes. You have gotten me using more cream cosmetics which I actually now prefer - thank you for that too. Stay well. Sent with love.
Shelbey, thank you for this!!! I’ve watched so many dupe videos but some of these were brand spankin’ new finds!!! I love hearing about any CT dupes because even though I’ve splurged in some of her products, I feel that some are just way overpriced!! Thank you for this change of pace!! 😘
@Joey H-Tinkous I haven’t purchased anything from CT because I’m afraid I’ll love everything - I know some things are worth it (Hollywood Flawless filter everyone says) but I’ve heard things like the filmstar bronzer is either holy grail or overhyped. I have so many bronzers to get through I can’t justify it (yet) because I’ll probably regret all the other bronzers 😂
Wendy F I just bought and returned the Hollywood flawless filter! It was soooo disappointing. You can get the SAME effect as taking 4 drops foundation, 2 drops primer (I used the tarte moisturizing base tape primer... I have a little sample I’m trying to use up) or lotion, and 1 or 2 drops liquid highlighter (I used my wet and wild one. The ones with the doe foot) blend and apply like normal. Up the amounts accordingly if you need more but I’m telling you I did one side the the CT and one side with MY “formula” and not only did it do the same thing but I liked the tone of the “illuminatinor/ highlight” in mine better! Not to mention when I returned mine the girl at the counter said I was like the 5th person that day to return that very product... guess I wasn’t the only one underwhelmed. Oh and p.s. normally I would’ve totally gotten a sample but the girls at Sephora told me it’s nearly impossible to get one because the doe foot and bottle style makes it so they can’t produce samples for customers so she told me to “buy it and try it”. Mistake on CT part the packaging was a major con for me as well. Hope this helps!
dark.demon .queen This is awesome, Thank you! I’m honestly not thrilled with CT HFF. I rarely wear it because it doesn’t seem to do....anything special. Too bad it’s way too old to return. LOL I’m going to try your trick and I bet I’ll get that glow I’m looking for!!! 😘❤️😉💜
@dark.demon .queen oh you more than helped me. You saved me 💰 and time. I absolutely hate when they can’t give samples because of the packaging, especially concealers. I asked for the under eye corrector in the pan and got a weird look, but got one. I was not impressed - WAY drier than I expected. I was looking for a reason NOT to buy the Hollywood Flawless so thanks - that’s a good tip. I’m trying to look for dupes if it’s something I want like an eyeshadow or blush, but what always gets me is when something is “unique” and will make my life easier (Eyes to Mesmerize I’m looking at you!) - I wanted Jean so bad but have similar cream/stick eyeshadows that actually last longer on my eyelids. I’m a sucker for something really unique (mousse texture and slightest pink color), but can’t even use up what I have before it will go bad, so I’m trying to resist the urge (it’s hard). Lately I’ve been playing around with mixing eyeshadow powder (scraped off) with different primers to try and make cream eyeshadows - why not? It should stick on your eyes and will be a color you like. It’s fun playing around - just trying to figure out a liquid bronzer so I don’t have to spend 💰💰💰for a tiny tube of it.
dark.demon .queen oh sad, I LOVE my flawless filter (I only bought it because I had a gift card 😂) but I was mad I loved it so much because it’s too expensive, thanks so much for the tips, I’ll try that when mine runs out!!
I love dupes videos!! I truly hope to see you using these more affordable products on a regular basis! I do like seeing youtubers using the same products repeatedly...just like the rest of us. 😊 It's even better when it is something I can relate to.
Thank you for suggesting a lot of products and techniques that help us achieve a very natural look. I've never liked a really "made up" look and the information that you share is so helpful!
I absolutely agree on the Flower Beauty products! The foundation is beautiful, but I tend to use it more in the summer for that healthy glow. The bronzer everyone is amazing! I’m with you Shelbey when I first saw it I was like... it’s so gray, but when you apply it it definitely warms and it’s beautiful! I have the Sunrise L1 also! Great video as always!!
Fabulous video! These are all quality products. I’m really enjoying the Physician’s Formula bronzer and highlight. Such lovely formulas. You’re looking beautiful as always:) Thanks, girlie🍃🌸
This is an amazing video. Try the Revolution finishing powder. It’s a great dupe to the Mac mineralized skin finisher and similar products but even better, imo. Beautiful healthy sheen to the skin. Flower beauty light illusion powder is a dupe for the Charlotte Tilbury airbrush compact powder.
I recently discovered that if you mix the glossier cloud paint shades puff and storm, you get a perfect color dupe for the milkmakeup lip and cheek in werk...
I have seen so many dupes videos, but many of these items were new dupes I’ve never heard mentioned in a prior video. Thank you for a very informative video.
Hi Shelby. I’ve never used a brow pomade but I have to tell you what I discovered by accident - I bought the ELF lock on liner and brow cream (to use as eyeliner) and just decided to play around and brush a little in my brows - holy cow it’s my favorite product now! It’s a “one product does everything” item. It looks really natural in my brows (just deepens them without obvious color change), works as eyeliner, and even as a cream eyeshadow (blended with a small not super fluffy brush). What’s ironic is I got the darkest shade Espresso, but with a light hand it is a light taupe that blends into my brows perfectly. I like that the pressure changes the color depth. I usually wear ABH brow wiz in taupe (the blonde is too warm), but I’ve never had anything look so undetectable, yet give me fluffy brows I’m actually comfortable with. I never invested in ABH pomade because people say it dries out (and the drugstore has come a long way) and I was honestly scared of drawing hairs where there aren’t any. I was prepared to look like Groucho Marks, but I stood in the mirror in disbelief - it added color depth and gave me full brows, and it’s UNDETECTABLE on me. If I mess up can wipe off with my finger before it sets. For reference I have dark brown eyebrows compared to my hair so I have to be careful because it’s easy to go too dark, so I usually go lighter (taupe) but this stuff is the perfect neutral brown. I then line my upper lid and buff it underneath for definition. It’s so cool because I can also make the outer corner a little smoky (like you do with Caviar stick in cocoa). It’s more of a dry texture compared to Caviar, but it still can be used as cream shadow. The fact I can use it for an entire eye look, including brows, makes it well worth the $4. It’s darker than Caviar cocoa (blended on my wrist side by side) but it almost has a khaki look when buffed into the skin, compared to cocoa. I love the ELF cream eyeliners too, but they’re too wet for brows, however, they’re a great dupe for high end gel liners in the pot, and it never dries out on me, ever). I’d be curious to hear your opinion - it’s obviously not the highest quality cream eyeshadow but it’s such a versatile product (I bet it blends better when it’s warmed up a little first - Emily Noel did that hack video and people put mascara in their bra to warm it up - she said it works).
I really appreciate your opinion and that you always say high end products and dupes for one who cant buy high end...keeep it up pleaseeeee it helpppssssssss

Hi everyone! Just wanted to share some dupes I’ve discovered myself.... Benefit: precisely my brow pencil = e.l.f. Ultra precise brow pencil (found mine @ Walmart) Giorgio Armani, face fabric, second skin makeup/(skin tint or light foundation) = No. 7 airbrush away tinted skin perfector (found mine @ target) Not steering you guys wrong here! I literally can’t tell the difference at all! Let my mistakes on overspending on luxury brands be your benefit! Lol! Enjoy and I hope this helps someone! 🌼😀
Loveliest girl, I'm so happy that you've reached 200k!!!!👏👌💥 Nevertheless, you deserve much, much more!!! Love absolutely everything you do! Thank you for your time, dedication, love for sharing your knowledge...you're amazing!🥰 Love from Croatia
As for plumping lipsticks there's the Benefit "They're Real" line that offers a "Double the Lip" lipstick. It smooths out lip lines and is very moisturizing and light and comfortable. I'm trying to finish it since I'm going cruelty free but the formula is very nice.
I finally bought the milk makeup bronzer and I’m obsessed. It’s perfect with the CT contour wand too. Cost per gram wise, the milk makeup is cheaper than the physicians formula which is nice.
I love the Milk bronzer!i really enjoy the Flower foundation. I also have 2 of the blushes, but now that I have the Sandler blushes I find I use them more. Thanks 🙏
Great video Shelby!! The Flower Beauty Heatwave Bronzer comes in 2 different shades...Sunrise and Sunswept. Which one are you recommending? Thanks so much!
I have the flower bronzer as well and it blew my mind the first time....I thought I dipped into the wrong one at first...its so bizzare and so amazing. Also I recently grabbed one of the daniel sandler watercolor blushes in rose glow....well it's beautiful but too highlite like....what would be a good everyday shade you suggest
Awww man now im mad about the peach plump too! 😂 I just bought it a few weeks ago.....definitely would have bought the Milani instead. Oh well, at least I had a Nordstrom note! And now I can move to the Milani next time!
Two questions...1) you’ve remarked in videos about some eczema on your eyes..how do you get rid of that and 2) where can one find Flower Beauty products?
I tried the Flower beauty foundation and wanted to love it but it made me break out really bad with cystic acne. I have no doubt it was the chemical sunscreen because that's what usually does it. I really wish companies would stop putting chemical sunscreens in makeup.
Milan’s actually makes a powder that is illuminating and so finely milled. It’s gorgeous! Much nicer formula than the elf powders imo. I had both and thought the elf was a drier formula.
I love you're simple natural glowy everyday looks don't get me wrong but I would love to see u step out of your comfort zone and maybe do a tutorial using bolder eyeshadow palette's for more of a brighter eye look and even maybe a bolder lip aswell!! I'd love to see you use maybe the Urban Decay 🍯 palette, or a Jouer palette, or maybe a bright color pop palette, or maybe even the Jackie Aina palette!!
What mascara would you recommend for oily eyelids? I have not been able to find anything to help me and within an hour or so my mascara runs no matter how expensive or cheap or whether I added a clear waterproof coat on top etc. Only a high end mascara I found years ago lasted longer, probably Shishedo, I don't remember which was sold as "oil resistant" but they don't make it anymore as far as I know. I would really appreciate anyone's suggestions, as I have had to abandon wearing mascara and my look really needs it. Of course I waterproof is my automatic choice and I don't do the bottom lashes as that is an immediate raccoon look.
I appreciate that you use lots of the same products because that’s how lots of people live. We buy things and then use them. This comment!!! Yes 😩🙏🏽
I've heard several times that Flower Beauty Spiced Petal is a dupe for the CT Pillow Talk lipstick, if you were looking for a dupe for the actual lipstick. Thanks for the tip on the liner! I love dupe videos!
I have Spiced Petal and although it's not completely matte, more like a satin, I think it's spot on for the color of Pillow Talk.
I purchased it but disappointed as it is almost a match for my natural color.
@@marlenekenalty3710 sounds like you might have found your perfect nude then 😂

It totally is!!! I was just about the leave this comment 🤣

Neutragena face products need a better color range. I can’t find a shade or undertone match for my ultra fair skin & deep skin has maybe 2 options.
Speak truth Amanda Dobbs! That is the same reason that I stopped buying Neutrogena.
U could try mixing colors
Emily Chen Not if the lightest shades are too dark or the darkest shades are too light.

Hi Shelbey, what shade are you in the neutrogena foundation? Thank you!!

How about the Laura Mercier caviar stick.
The new covergirl shadow sticks
As for plumping lipsticks there's the Benefit "They're Real" line that offers a "Double the Lip" lipstick. It smooths out lip lines and is very moisturizing and light and comfortable. I'm trying to finish it since I'm going cruelty free but the formula is very nice.
Thank you! So many great drug store recommendations/dupes that I've never heard of before!
Love this type of video. Would of been great to see them on you like a side by side comparison, but great dupes.
Loveee flower beauty foundation
Obsessed with the concept of this video!!
I finally bought the milk makeup bronzer and I’m obsessed. It’s perfect with the CT contour wand too. Cost per gram wise, the milk makeup is cheaper than the physicians formula which is nice.
Loved this video!!! I really want to try some of the dupes! Thank you for all your hard work!!! 💛💓💛
I love the Milk bronzer!i really enjoy the Flower foundation. I also have 2 of the blushes, but now that I have the Sandler blushes I find I use them more. Thanks 🙏
I so appreciate your experimentation for us. Awesome. I can afford these.

Love this idea for a video. I have the high end but its nice to have the dupe option
This is great! Sometimes the dupes are not really that close in the color, your dupes look pretty close! Thank you for sharing Shelbey!
I was totally going to get that flower bronzer the other day but it looked so gray I was scared and put it back 🙈 lol now I need to go get it
I love dupe videos, this was awesome!
Great video Shelby!! The Flower Beauty Heatwave Bronzer comes in 2 different shades...Sunrise and Sunswept. Which one are you recommending? Thanks so much!
I’d love for you to do a video where half of the face is expensive makeup and the other half is the dupe for those!
Love all your videos
Fabulous fabulous fabulous Shelby, thank you ❤️
I LOVE the Milani keep it full glosses! I have some different shades than you and they are amazing!
Try Caress. I bought it and rose glow, they're basically the same color but RG has that highlight finish instead.
👍love dupes!💕
Awww man now im mad about the peach plump too! 😂 I just bought it a few weeks ago.....definitely would have bought the Milani instead. Oh well, at least I had a Nordstrom note! And now I can move to the Milani next time!
Love these! Thanks for taking the time to investigate!
Love love love this video!!!
Thanks. Very helpful
Can’t wait to try the dupes.
I’m looking for an eyeshadow like the one you’re wearing! Do u remember which one you were wearing?
Two questions...1) you’ve remarked in videos about some eczema on your eyes..how do you get rid of that and 2) where can one find Flower Beauty products?
Geri Custer You can find Flower Beauty at Ulta and Walmart! The line was founded by Drew Barrymore.
You can find some Flower Beauty products at Ulta and Walmart, but some of their products are only available on their website at: flowerbeauty.com
I tried the Flower beauty foundation and wanted to love it but it made me break out really bad with cystic acne. I have no doubt it was the chemical sunscreen because that's what usually does it. I really wish companies would stop putting chemical sunscreens in makeup.
This video was sooo helpful...the content u make always interests me❤
Extremely helpful !!! Thank you
Love this content, great dupes!
Love your makeup! Sooo natural and pretty😍💕❤️
Anyone find a dupe for hourglass dim light? Great dupe video little lady 👍🏼😊
Carrie Palmiter look up swatches for the ELF Illuminating Pallet, there’s 4 shades and there is a Dim dupe in there!
Ooo I will 😊 thank you!
Milan’s actually makes a powder that is illuminating and so finely milled. It’s gorgeous! Much nicer formula than the elf powders imo. I had both and thought the elf was a drier formula.
Pap Pyone I think I may have this one...if it’s the prep set and glow
Carrie Palmiter yes that’s the one. It’s a bit lighter in color but the look I think is so similar.
