Love the little race against the clock on the double sockets 😂
For bending plastic with spring I always have an old rag which I rub quickly over the conduit at the end point. The friction helps heat the pipe so bends a lot easier
It’s great when you work together his a team, you and Adam and now Mitch on different work jobs it creates interaction and Learn more , ⚡️👊
Stick to flexi conduit bro 😉
but not conlok flexi
When I have a similar work to do, I usually start with the lights, then wire them to the end, put temp wagos on and wire them to a plug and feed them from a socket. That way you have good work lights. Then wire the actual feed to the place where the wagos are and just move the connection from the temp plug wire to the final point. Takes about five minutes extra work but so much nicer to work with good lights
I've watched too many Viet Nam war films and always tap the drill battery on my head before inserting it.
Remember to overbend it and bend it back a bit. At 9:30. Especially if you put the conduit in the floor sticking up before pouring concrete. If you bend nice 90 without overbend you'll have nice 45 degree conduits the next day
When you had the board in your hand i thought i had dead pixels on my phone for a minuite
It was the laser level 😂
I liked the editing, looks slick
4:37 Dewalt batteries are always flat! 😂
Con lock , will it catch on?
Us older sparkies will remember the hammer on conduit fittings
It looks shit in my opinion just thread it haha
Over the pond we only do conduite for everything exept industrieal aplecation .
We used to bending pijp .
Or is jours thikker
"Time for an upgrade, mate". Yea, Milwaukee!
Geez Nick, we all know you're an aaaaahhhh, so good... Nice edits, good having someone to banter with/to whatever. Lol
Good editing! And (as already mentioned) .. a plumber's pipe cutter: easier, more control, and a better finish.
Good vid's.
Paul (Newmarket).
Enjoyed the race. :)
looked like a pringles moment nick when it broke
Nick as always good content
Where was the shot of the replacement set 🤔 as a plumber I have no problems with sets 😅
You have 3 phase , why not put a 3 phase board in.
Same money really and I bet you will find L1 already has loads on already.Everyone uses L1 !
Con lock -now that’s a bloody good idea.
Prefer containment in galv for industrial look Nick,
design/installation
Great view 👍🏼
It’s a photography studio. The client requested white everywhere
@nbundy live the video as usual can i ask a question when you used the grinder/cutting disk to cut tbrough the conduit would the sparks present a risk to the consume unit breakers been an engineer myself yers ago i did exactly the same thing and the electrician wasnt pleased as he said the tiny fragments of metal could cause issues is this the case of just worrying for the sake of worrying ?
nice to see something different to domestic from you nick nice video
Mitch did not tighten those socket terminals adequately
Fact
I'd separate the cpc across the socket for resistance.
JUST USE A PIPE CUTTER A SMALL ONE . Just wait till one has a 100 conduits to cut in a working hospital when changing fuse panels . OH when life was fun .
Nice one
Nick give him some of all that Milwalke stuff you have LOL
Hairs looking fresh bro
Cheers dude
👍👍👍
I deny that conlok is compliant with anything, i am in a grouchy mood
What are the yellow screwdrivers you use on every video? I keep meaning to ask, never seen them
Can really see you are not used to 3 phase supply. I understand because most houses in uk only has 1 phase. Where I'm living almost all installations are 3 phases. If you connect a 1 phase installation to a 3 phase supply you connect it to the phase with the highest voltage as if everything was connected to L1 you will make an imbalance in the distribution net.
who put the plastic crap underneath the decent DB? ;) [old electrician]
The saddles are a bit far apart. I usually like to do them 200mm from the box and 400mm apart
Agreed I would of even had more than 2 if it was glav
@@romansearle7710your allowed a further distance between saddles if galv conduit. Plastic is 300mm from accessory or box
On-site Guide tells you all you need to know
Time for a new screwdriver Mitch 😅
Tell me about it ! Made me more aware how worn out it was even though I still beat him 😊
Where's the pinned link to Mitch's Channel?
At the top mate
Would be easier with a Dremel.
How many people I wonder got your not a scratch quote? Its off Captain America the first Avenger (massive MC DC fan also)
Legend 🙌
Hope you dont take your nuts of with that dewalt hole saws
I should have said your flexi conduit
Don't speak to me, I am watching.
So rude lol
Noooooo not con loc!!!!!
Do you feel a bit more superior now you done a bit of commercial work instead of that house bashing.
