Olympia looping is one of the most underrated rides out there, do it every year at HPWW and apart from Hyperia its my fave coaster in the UK when its here
Ive been there (during EuroCup 2008)!!! Vienna was a host city that year, it was CRAZY when we were there. Would love to go back and enjoy the park more. We went on the Vienna giant Ferris wheel (the old one) and they had one of the fan fest areas for the games in the grassy field on the one side. Had to be 5,000 people watching the game on a huge movie screen while we were on the Ferris wheel.
I regret not having gone to the park in 2009 when I was last in Vienna, but I was there in late June1983 when the best ride there was the 1st Jet Star 1. That was over 41 years ago. Thanks for posting!
Between the Tagada and Hotel Psycho, that made for the most hilarious vlog of this entire trip! More chaotic spinning rides in Europe is EXACTLY the CoasterDash content I signed up for😂👏🏻👍🏻 I’m sure what you saw in Hotel Psycho was disturbing, but the reactions and blurs had me dying😂🤣😂🤣 And Olympia Looping looked fun and glad that credit was checked off for all y’all as it travels and is probably hard to get
Does that park still have the "Extacy"? That was my all time favorite indoor flat ride that they had. It was one of the most intense flat ride experiences I ever experienced and it might even pass a Zipper for intensity. That ride was insane and it was so perfect. The lights, the music, the smoke machines, the music. It's the craziest ride I've ever been on. i wish that they had these travelling around in the States. I would KILL to ride one again. Riding it at night was a MUST.

I was waiting for this vlog. Being Czech, I live between Legendia, Energylandia and Wiener Prater and Prater is where I rode my very first roller coasters and discovered my love for them. Especially Gesengte Sau and Megablitz are the most guilty. Love this place and its atmosphere. And I am so glad you got the chance to experience Olympia Looping, one of my favorites. Still haven´t ridden Volare though lol. .
Fun fact about Olympia Looping: Its owner, Barth, has been trying to get rid of it for ages, and at one point in the early nineties, the Efteling was considering buying it. They pulled out and ended up building a wooden coaster instead. That was Pegasus, since scrapped and replaced with Joris en de Draak. I imagine the trajectory of the Efteling might have looked different if they had built that 5 looping Schwarzkopf monster! As for Barth, he is still looking to sell it and I wouldn't be at all surprised to see it move to Saudi Arabia or China in the future. Ride it while you can.
Bro why tf would he sell it. If that's true tho it's a good looking coaster and a smooth one. I hope it doesn't move out of Europe tho but if someone's going to buy it in sure it will be oktoberfest
@@Ulveraty_Animations You have to imagine that at the end of the day showmen need to make a profit, and I think Olympia Looping is just very hard to make a profit on. It has to be dismantled and re-assembled in every new location, transported, manned and maintained to European safety standards. And you pay for the plot of land on every fair, too. On a huge, one of a kind ride like this (the manufacturer of which is no longer operating) this is just extremely expensive. And if you have a week of bad weather, you've lost half your riders. Why struggle to break even every year if you can sell it for a couple million now?
@@gemmachaos I have seen it getting hate recently because of these shoulder restraints but honestly they are so painful and wait I thought showmen actually pay to have olympia looping on there fair cuz it makes profit lol I didnt know they actually pay showmen to have their coaster there also wouldn't that apply the same as Alpina Bahn? Cuz I mean olympia looping is just the better version of Alpina Bahn
You should have rode the black mamba. I am sad that I only rode olympia once. At the time I didn't know it won't be here forever. Also the Hochschaubahn was the ride I rode when I was about 8 years old. And Tagada needs practice. Some kids ride it for an hour straight, and get really good at it.
BHS is "now" Maurer. Yeah, without Schwarzkopf, no Maurer. And no Gerstlauer, INTAMIN or Premier Rides.All these companies are in the coaster business because Schwarzkopf existed. One reason for us german enthusiasts, why Anton Schwarzkopf was the god of the amusement Industrie.
Thank you for the video. We visited this late last year. Olympia looping was gone. Thanks to your service on Volare we did skip it. Gesengte Sau was open and enjoyable. Praterturm was a new record for the tallest Starflyer we ve been on at 95 metres up. Wiener Looping stood there being new and pretty. Not running as yet. Fun fact (unsure if it’s a fact): Olympia Looping is NOT the largest traveling roller coaster if I’m not mistaken. That title belongs to the Hölenblitz which is still traveling across many fun fairs in Germany. I could be wrong though
Volare is genuinely the scariest coaster i have ever been on, i was freaking out on the lift hill because my back wasn't touching the "restraint" and literally though i was about to fall out
Wiener prater has a volare, which means, they have one of the worst coasters in existence. Also no need to complain about all American triple loop, what OTSR’s? I only see lap bars 💀

Ride experience wise on tt2, they did an amazing job. Reliability wise not so much.
