Thank you Danielle, Pastor Ed, and Dr. Jennings for another great program.
There have been 88,899 federal rules and regulations since 1995 through December 2016, but “only” 4,312 laws.
Another 2,419 proposed rules were in play at year-end 2016. The average state has 130,000 laws and regulations. Where the spirit of the Lord is there is liberty. I'm so glad we serve a God that does not want or need to control us coerce or force us but instead sets us free! What a great God we serve!

Different faith expressions but truth love and freedom is the fruit of the goal of deepening our relationship, our intimacy with our triune God. Design law … so true and given to us in love for freedom.

What you teach matters and that is where the difference comes

When I think about baptism, in addition to being a testament, I think that for the individual that goes through the ceremony it helps them to make a psychological shift. A shift in self-perception; being able to perceive themselves as being a part of God's family, a child of God.
Ceremonies can act as a threshold that helps individuals to make psychological shifts. When you step over a threshold, before you were in one room, now you are inside a different room. Ceremonies in a similar way can mark major transitions in life. Before your life was like this, cross the threshold, and now it is like this. Before unmarried, now married. There isn't any metaphysical power in the ceremony. It's power is in to help individuals psychologically step across a threshold into a new part of life.

What astounds me about God is that when we are working with God in taking His help ( humbling ourselves to accept His true help) we are on the right path even if it doesn't look that way to the self- righteous ones. 'man judges by the outward appearance, Gog looketh upon the heart'. We all get the same wage in the spiritual realm. God is helping each individual at each individuals need point. We are cared for by God the Holy Spirit and he assigns Angels to help us too. Bible says we have God The Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit and Angels. ( angels help the heirs of slavation) so we don't need to worry much. We have been provided for as God is a giver. We can trust God. We're the needy ones and He is the almighty benevolent one .

Dr Jennings. You may know there’s a big division happening in the SDA church presently. What is your view on that? Thanks

They have this thinking too that baptism is like magic that once you get baptized, all of a sudden you will know everything and you will be neglected in the church after baptism.
The priority is always the one who haven't had baptism.
So because of that, people doesnt want to get baptized yet so they can still have access with the resources in church. Like learn from the prophecy seminars or bible studies and good treatment from the church. (US BASED)
when i was in my country
Newly baptized will be taken care of by the pastor. We have a pastoral class and bible studies with the pastors.
We learned how to study by ourselves and share it confidently.
In USA, my friend, after baptism, he still confused about everything and not confident to share stuff cause he still needs help. But he lost interest after we got neglected.
Im trying to encourage him to get inspired again... but im having a hard time...im praying for him always... for the Holy Spirit to help him get excited again about learning.
All i know, he loves God so much. And God loves him more.

There's an opinion from the pastor too that the reason why there's 12 gates in the new Jerusalem because it is for different personalities of people.
    😅
He said there's a gate for introverts, extroverts, etc...
I was like... this is a terrifying thought coming from a pastor.
Instead of wishing to be a part of a family, or a group with Jesus, he's thinking about division.
Seriously though i wish he was joking. But he seems serious.
Im introvert myself and i wish i will be part of a group with everybody under God's... no exclusion, no division, no rejection, no discrimination etc...
    (English-not my first language)
    (Criticism-fine)

I've found that sometimes pastors may sound like they're speaking concretely (like when Jesus said this bread is my body), but they are actually speaking symbolically. So there's a chance that your pastor sounded like he's saying different people literally enter through different gates, but perhaps his intention was symbolic; to create a visual representation, that heaven is for all different types of people, and that all different types of people are welcome there and will join together there inside.

The divisiveness proves that mainstream so called "Christianity" is not the true Christianity of the first century, it is a counterfeit version with false teachings.
This is the standard that proper worship must meet but is NOT what is seen in Christendom!
(1 Corinthians 1:10) Now I urge you, brothers, through the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that YOU SHOULD ALL SPEAK IN AGREEMENT and that THERE SHOULD BE NO DIVISIONS AMONG YOU, but that YOU MAY BE COMPLETELY UNITED IN THE SAME MIND AND IN THE SAME LINE OF THOUGHT.
