Pamela McGee is a USC Trojan legend where she was a back-to-back NCAA champion, she is also a 2012 Women's Basketball Hall of Famer, a 1984 Olympic gold medalist and the first WNBA mom to have a son and daughter drafted in the NBA and WNBA. We are thrilled to welcome in Pamela as our first female guest on the show!
Her son JaVale McGee is a 3X NBA champion, Grammy nominated producer and member of the 2020 Olympic gold winning basketball team. JaVale currently plays for the Phoenix Suns.
The trio discuss the Olympics, JaVale’s childhood growing up with a single mother who hoops, their humble beginnings in Flint, Michigan and Pamela’s experience raising not one, but two professional basketball players. Shannon goes on to ask Pamela both her male and female basketball GOATS!
JaVale gives Shannon more insight into his NBA career, including his time with the Golden State Warriors organization at the height of their dynasty. JaVale also talks about what he can bring to the Suns, his Top-3 NBA rappers of all-time and much more!

I went to school with Pam and Paula. They were Dominate in high-school!!! I still love my girls! Was at every game (Leonard) These Laidies always had class! Warms my heart to see her with the sucess and the sucess of her Children! She EARNED everything she gotten!! Great roll model

Yeah I agree, I had a whole different picture of Javale because of Shaqtin until I started really watching him play. I used to think it was mad funny, but he was harming Javale’s career because of that national perception.
