Seventy-four year old US grandmother here. I first came across Ren in January of this year, when "Hi Ren" was about six weeks old, I believe, and had not quite "blown up.". I was no longer listening to contemporary music; my time had been in the early 70's and later music hadn't been a good fit for me. It was a total accident, a quirk, that I read about this astonishing performance, and on a whim I followed the link. I'm not kidding when I say that my days, and my heart, have not been the same since. I feel so incredibly fortunate -- and grateful -- that Ren's music entered my life. I listen to his music and to others reacting to his music, daily. My empathy and sympathy for others has grown hugely, and I honestly think that it was not really an accident that made our paths intersect. I think he can change the world. Truly. I'm glad to have found your reactions also. I'm guessing you feel as fortunate as I do.

Yes. You get Lyme disease from being bitten by a tick. I live in an area where they are fairly prevalent. I worry about it since I learned about it because of Ren. But I just try and take precautions.
"For Joe" should be next. It is the balance to this one. Joe died just before Ren got sick, really, really sick. There's a video he posted from that time and you can tell he's struggling, he thinks he's going to die and he's losing hope. When you watch that, and you hear these words it's hard not to tie Ren's survival to Joe. Ren knew what the loss felt like, so he kept fighting even though he was in so much pain. Ren fought for years before things turned around. I really think Joe saved Ren and together they make amazing music.
I think the most impactful art comes from pain as it has the power to not only heal the artist by expressing it but also the one's hearing and/or seeing it and relating to it. When you see the beauty in the pain it helps heal traumas in their lives because our brains attach emotions to traumatic events and to heal those attachments need to be softened and hopefully eventually released. So when you see someone cry over art or music it's not a sign of weakness but a sign of them healing and getting stronger because of it. ✌️&❤️
As someone who's lost a loved one to un-aliving, I can't imagine what Ren went through after Joe. The whole story is told in the Knox-Ren interview, if you're curious. True pain. Keep up the great reactions, this isn't the easiest to react to... but you've got a ways to go with lots of uplifting music too!

I really appreciate this song. If you’re having a really hard time, the first half of the song really hits and might make some ppl feel seen. The second part came after a talk with Knox Hill. Knox encouraged him to put everything out there, tears and all. Ren did and it was perfect. There are lots of references to Joe in his songs. Ren says he knew he could never do the same thing after seeing the aftermath of losing Joe. So no matter how bad his illness got, he never went there.

Oh man, You need to see the video for this track. The song is good but with the visuals. It's something else man, like Blade Runner. but solid react! if you mention a track you're thinking of doing say it in the previous video and the Renegades will tell you which one is best. As with Ren sometimes the live is the bomb, sometimes it's a lyric video, and sometimes it's a studio track. And sometimes like with the track Murderer both versions are so good you need to react to them both.

I go to a dark place where in which, i dont have a guide to navigate with nf's music. Hes deep but his words are direct. Nothing to interpret. No where to lose my sense of self. He brings it (overpowering emotion) to the forefront. But what do you expect from a therapy session, huh? My state of mind is in need of assistance, Such as breakdowns and reactions. Hes so talented i just need that "it" factor and the openess ren has offered like no one has touched his lane quite asnwell and impactful. I go to a dark place where in which, i dont have a guide to navigate with nf's music. Hes deep but his words are direct. Nothing to interpret. No where to lose my sense of self. He brings it (overpowering emotion) to the forefront. But what do you expect from a therapy session, huh?

TBH I dont know why you chose to do the audio version rather than the official video version that adds to the atmosphere of the track. For your info, the majority of the Sickboi album has video versions. For Joe (live video) should be a follow up.

My nf friend! Your right about Ren fans sir they do come out in droves compared to nf fans and I’m not making excuses for NF fans but I think there’s something funny going on with the algorithm and I only say that because whenever you put out a Ren video I see it pop up with the thumbnail since I’m subscribed right but your nf video didn’t pop up with a thumbnail in fact if I hadn’t gone and typed in first reactions to nf like I do everyday I wouldn’t have known that you put mansion out because that’s when you popped up on my end and I found mansion which I thought was really weird but I had to share that with you, not saying that may be the case for everyone sir but even if that’s the case for a few people then you can see how that just doesn’t make sense! And lastly if you think the ren fan base is great then just wait till you see Angelina Jordan’s family not fan base because theres people that have been following her for over a decade and she’s only 17 now but you have to do I Put a Spell on You first because that’s what the family looks for on their radar simply because at 9 years old in that video she….. well you’ll see when you do it, because I still can’t wrap my head around it and I’ve watched over 200 of her videos now sir!!

Super shame you didnt watch this to the proper MV for the song :( You really should research what versions to watch a little by asking- for any song not just Rens. At least watch the video with most views for a given song- that will normally get you the right one the fans want to see.
