  • Chef Luke Zahm travels to Sheboygan to find out first hand what makes Sheboygan hard roll’s special. First we stop in to City Bakery to meet with Owner Rick Navis and help with his daily bake. Then we head to West Side Bakery to meet the colorful “Fuzzy the Bakery” and get a little history of hard rolls. Finally Luke puts the product to the test, using local Miesfeld brats to determine his favorite hard roll.

Great episode! Wish Green Bay PBS wouldn't put it on at same time as This Old House Hour but Green Bay would prefer to run BBC soaps the rest of the week.

What? No sauerkraut and brown mustard? But seriously I love seeing these bakeries getting some love.

no sauerkraut on a brat - that is for weiners and ring bologna

A Sheboygan brat can only be grilled over charcoal. A pan fried brat is just a differently spiced breakfast sausage. It's fine, but it's no brat. Your taste test is a blasphemous lie.
Seriously though... apart from how you prepared your brats... this is an excellent episode!
