I just followed your method for my first ever attempt with a Little Big Men studios banner, and I am really pleased with the result! thanks, great video and very well explained.
Great stuff! A few extra steps, but the end result is great. Just got caught up with the rest of the backlog of videos. A great end to your most recent campaign! I'm glad to see One Page Rules getting some much deserved love. Looking forward to more!
I have used the metal from tubecheeses ala Scruffycrow's method, and freehanding (poorly). Though I have also been considered trying decals on them, so might give this method a try one day, but with the tubecheese container instead of printer paper, and see how well that works.
It's worth a shot! I haven't tried Scruffy Crows method yet. I have tried putting the decals on tinfoil, but I had issues with them peeling the white undercoat off!
That's certainly a solution! You get to customise them too! The LBMS ones are great, but they are wickedly sticky. Once they stick, they don't want to let go so they had better be right!

That's awesome Hamish! I'm glad to hear it worked out so well for you!
Superb instructions! Thanks so very much. Your video helped me finish the flags for the Gordon Highlanders that will be on the Waterloo 20 mm diorama.
Good to hear! I'm glad it helped out!

Cheers Steven! They can be very tricky, these banners, so it's worth those extra steps!
A good video as always looking forward to your next battle report
Cheers Gary. I'm working on terrain for it, but I keep getting distracted by other projects!
Excellent instructions! Many thanks!
Cheers William! Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for the tips. I love the shield decals but I've been holding off on the banners.
No worries! I hope it helps!
The shield decals are fantastic, as are the banners, they're just fiddly.
Thanks for the info

Flipping amazing work! Im intimidated though due to my 10 thumbs.
Yeah, they can be very finicky! But they look fantastic if you have the patience to get them right!
That is a lot of work, but a nice result. Cheers.
Yeah, it sure is. But the banners look fantastic when you get them done!
I was looking at the little big men site and I cannot find the banners you show, any help?
I grab them from North Star Military Figures. For this one in particular: www.northstarfigures.com/prod.php?prod=11135
@@AshandStoneNZ Awesome! thanks. Love the content I have just found your channel and binged everything Oathmark so far!
Fantastic!
No worries Kevin! Thanks for the kind words!
I think I'll just stick to making my own flags. It's a much simpler method. Great vid.
That's certainly a solution! You get to customise them too!

I seriously do not understand why LBMS don't just print their banners on paper. Glad I'm using Flags of War flags
Yeah I don't know. I guess it gives you some options on what substrate to use...?
Nice work but wtf is this banner?
It's one of the Little Big Men Studios banners for Oathmark Dwarves: www.northstarfigures.com/prod.php?prod=11135
@@AshandStoneNZ yeah looks cool but who come with the Idea appling a Banner like that
Ah, understood. Yeah, they're super awkward. The shield transfers are great, but the banner ones are a PITA.
