Things changed a little bit since the 40 years since I lived on Alki beach. Nice to see the Sunfish is still there in case I come back for a visit from our home in the Philippines. The Sunfish, in my opinion, had the BEST fish and chips, salmon, cod, halibut and oyster baskets in the entire Seattle area. Never greasy or overcooked. Last time we were there 6 years ago, they were still the best! The traffic looked terrible.
Cool! You can watch them cook your order right in front of you. You can see them put the fish in the hot oil, yet it comes out not all greasy. We have had fish and chips at the hot spots right there near Pikes Place and it is greasy. I used to live just a few blocks away from The Sunfish and it has always been one of my favorite places to eat fish and chips. @@PNWTogether
