KFC STYLE MASHED POTATO | Secret of Soft and Creamy Mashed Potato

- This creamy mashed potatoes recipe is shockingly good and it has just 3 simple ingredients (one of which is salt), but there are several secrets that make this recipe work so well. Please watch the video for tutorial.
Ingredients:
4 medium-sized potatoes
1/2 cup melted butter
1/2 cup full cream milk
Salt and pepper to taste

Cutting size depend on the type of potato used. For me i just boil it for 10 minutes, drain, and start mashing it slowly with a fork, add cold water. About a table spoon at a time. Then add milk powder. Milk powder acts like sand paper during the mashing process. Keep adding cold water till you reach the consistency you want. Normally mashing it fine and fluffy is done in 5 minutes . Never season it with salt after mashing. Only add salt suring the cooking to make the water temperature higher so it mashes up easily. Cause the sauce is the one should be salty and your potatoes should be creamy. Butter is good too but i avoid using it since i use milk and cold water. For its creaminess already. But there is no wrong in your way. Just the taste and time difference. I can complete a whole mash potato from scratch in 20mins. 5 mins to wash and peel and cut them up, 10 mins to boil (i make the sauce during this time also). And 5 mins to mash it up.
