its just more satisfying with tge V8. you also can typically squeeze more power with them.. also rly nice to cruise with on the high way, just feels better over all, i got a 2008 Grand Marquis, even with low Power its still rly fun to cruise 85kmh only on 1100 rpm. i love it :)
6.3 for a large V-6 car is very quick..yes, quick. think about just 10 years ago. v8s were doing 0 to 60 in the 6's. I bet this is stock too. I commend Dodge.
I hit 5.7 after i installed my solo performance cat back exhaust. gained about 15rwhp and dropped 40lbs with the new exhaust on. going to be testing a 0-60 in a couple of weeks on a track after i install my intake.
+Antonio Giannico That's very cool!! I think I can hit 5.9 sec, because I changed my exhaust system(Flowmaster American Thunder Cat-Back Exhaust System). I'm gonna try run 0-60 again sometime.
I have the same FM system (the FM has 2.5" diameter pipes, whereas the stock pipes are 2.25"), and ran several 5.8 pulls. I then added the Mopar CAI and was able to get it down to 5.7. I'd love to add a tune and see what it will get, but I'm still under warranty. BTW, the stock R/T (5.7 v8 engine) is rated at 5.1 in the 0-60.
That's not bad for a V6 Challenger considering they claim 6.5 from the factory. I have a 2015 Mustang with a 3.7 and from factory they can do 0-60 in 5.5 on a good day. Mine is slightly modified and I'm usually around the 5.3 mark on average with a one time best of 5.1. Simple bolt on mods and a tune will improve your acceleration significantly.
The best I get with my 2012 Challenger, with the 3.06 rear axle option and 18" tires is 5.8, but the thing is that I deleted my Resonators so, that could be a factor.
cool,i only wish they had a manual option too in the SXT line...it's the only reason i'm going for the RT...but the results are impressive for the SXT...dodge really did some amazing work...i keep my cars for 10+ yrs so a manual is more reliable + cheaper too anyway
+Deejay Core Well, you won't regret if you get a R/T, because its a V8 after all. But you might regret if you get a V6. Im very happy to own a Challenger, even though its a V6 model. Challenger has always been my dream car, and I'm glad to own one at this young age. I wish I could get a R/T, but I couldn't afford it. My next Challenger will be 329 Shaker, that's for sure. : )
Take into consideration: how flat the strip was that you were on, if you're at sea level, and how hot the weather was. I've found at 70 degrees she bogs down, and 80 degrees she bogs down more...at 90 she's a total pig.
So if care about the gas mileage cause of financial reasons but i also want some power would thw v6 be that much of a difference from the v8 or does the v8 blow the v6 completely out of the water if you get what i mean!?!?!?! I will very much appreciate anyone's comment. Thanks
I have the 2015 act plus challenger. My best time used to be 5.9srconds now it's 5.6srconds. The key is to race a lot of cars even if they are v8s and will most locally kick ur ass. Plus drive in sport and either use the paddle shifters or the trip tonic system. Everything I have on my car is original no after market shit. I thought 5.9seconds was the best I could get on this car but I guess not. My uncle just got a SS (V8 Comero) last month. Need to race him! 🏎🏎
Nice pull. All these newer V6 cars are very impressive. The V8 guys will never admit that though :0
+3sevenMustang Thanks! : )
The new V6 Pentastar they put on the Challengers is very impressive. I do 0-60 in 6.1 with my stock ride.
Phoenix-009 same can go for the chargers too

+CeeStyleDj Yes, that's true, evolution is a great thing!!
I got 5.8 seconds in my 2016 v-6 Challenger yesterday. Tripped me out!
I got 2.4 seconds all stock my car is soo fast
@@uraniumnarium 🧢
I get 3 seconds in my 01 accord all stock.
Yep, my best in my 19 GT RWD is 5.7 and it spun hard.
Im late but i got 5.8 in my chrysler 300s. V6+awd
Transmission seems to have more aggressive shifting than other 8 speeds

Did you guys put in a CAI too or just the exhaust system?

Heavyfoot - how do you like your FM American Thunder? I love mine!
That's pretty good for a v6 ngl
Can't get mine passed 6.8. With a cai. Im in Colorado maybe the altitude??
Yup.

No videos 😮💨
got 5.7 on my v6 rental lmao and it spun like crazy
No proof .

very accurate 6.4 on my end
Is that good or bad?? 6.3 sec
Can you reset the times?
5.4 0-60 on my V6. Posted on my channel. These V6 challengers can get up and go
You aint got nothing on your channel, keep dreaming bud.
I got 5.8 seconds with a full tank of gas in the car. 2015 v6 SXT
Bro a ram 1500 can get 5.1 second
now my best is 5.9
keep your traction on a break torque launch you should get 6.0-6.2 consistently
wow that's amazing...always thought it was slower than this for such a big car...makes the v8 5.7 not that impressive
+Deejay Core I think I can hit 5.9 seconds, because I changed the exhaust system of my car. I will try 0-60 again sometime.

It always has been slower, with an anemic 250hp 3.5 V6 and a 4-speed auto. Now with the 3.6 and 8-speed, it's finally quick.
The new 5.7 L does 0-60 in 5.4-5.6 seconds though which is still fast but the 6.4 L is where it's at
I got 5.6 sec on stock v6 challenger.
No proof :/
my best was 6.2. But also I've only done the 0-60 like 3 times
Take into consideration: how flat the strip was that you were on, if you're at sea level, and how hot the weather was. I've found at 70 degrees she bogs down, and 80 degrees she bogs down more...at 90 she's a total pig.

not great considering the Mustang and camaro are in the mid 5s
+matthew von I got 5.4 seconds on my 2015 challenger v6
@HeavyFoot_JP put your car in manual bro and it will fly.
I did 5.6 0-60 I added premium shell gas and a K&N Air Filter. 14.2 Quarter also.
No proof 😩

No proof as usual
Wow same as the v6 camry
It took me 28.7 to bust on all of your mothas backs
now my best is 5.9
+Ryan Serrano That's pretty awesome man! I gotta try it again sometime, since I changed my exhaust system.
