These POV tutorials are great. They makes it so much easier to get visual feedback in real time when I'm on my board, without having to video myself to see if my movements match "from the outside". Also really appreciate seeing tutorials from someone else who has long feet. I sometimes have trouble figuring out foot position from other people's tutorials because the proportions between my feet and board are so different from theirs.
The part where he throws in the tip about forming your arms like an “X” to force your shoulders to stay straight is the reason I can Ollie forward on command now so I thank you bro
Ayo I definitely would adore if u continue these Tutorials on first person. mainly cuz imma new boarder but it’s the most helpful skate videos out there
I´m learning all my tricks regular and goofy , so this video is simply brilliant, the POV view is the best for learning them and including the goofy stand is so thoughtful. I inmediatly subscribed just for this video. Greetings.
awesome video bro I instantly subscribed, really hope I can land a kickflip tomorrow. Going to try dropping the shoulder thing becuz i always launch my board forward
IF YOUR FLICKS SUCK : Lean your body weight backwards before popping, because the force of the flick (since you are supposed to flick sideways) wants to move the entire board behind you. Think of this as a pop shuvit. If you scoop a pop shovit backside, it will end up in front of where you started once you land it, so if you flick a kickflip, the board will try to end up behind you when you land it. So jump you body a little bit backwards before popping. Also pop with your ankle like an ollie, it gives you better flick somehow.
I have a major issue I’ve been training my front foot wrong for months and months and when doing kickflips I land my backfoot on perfectly but no matter how hard I try even if I flick out my front foot refuses to go on the board any tips on that?
With the weather getting nicer, I was planning on skating again and learning to kick flip, and I was wondering if there was a first person view tutorial. Wow, the luck
Hey there bud ...love your tips, your a great explainer! Yo i gotta question...do you need to pop almost backwards and down wih the backfoot to get a crisp pop thay stays under you? Thanks bro🤘🏿
Interested in your shoe size and board width. I'm a tall guy used to skinnier decks and I noticed I'm trying to move up to a 8.25 but I notice my foot angles have to change even though it's just a 1/8" change
Usually delaying the flick will result in a higher kickflip but I wouldn't recommend thinking about it too hard unless you already have kickflips and are trying to improve them.
Sean, sorry that this is not related to the video at all but i have a question; I can kickflip stairs like nothing but for some reason i can't heelflip stairs to save my life, not even a little curb. Do you think it is okay if i just move on to varial heelflipping stairs without being able to heelflip them? Because i feel like varial heelflipping stairs would be way easier for me. I saw a video of you doing a sick varial heelflip down a 4 stair so i tought you would know.
Do u have any idea how to stop toe tap on a kickflip because i keep doing that. Like sometimes i can get them really clean but most the times its toe tap.
It's like a mixture of fully committing and potentially leaning more back towards your heels. Sometimes toe taps will happen when leaning too far over your toes
I have the front foot only problem, and it's interesting to learn that I'm not lifting my back leg. I should film myself more, parkour skills don't really transfer
No worries! The flicking down part is a hard thing to explain how to fix. I had that same problem for a lonnnnng time. The only thing that really helped me was just to land a whole bunch of one footers with my front foot only then focus really hard on keeping that same flick during the actual kickflip. Best of luck to you! You got this!
This bro is teaching ppl to not face forward when doing tricks. This is very wrong, which pro isn't opened with his shoulders when doing flips? Be careful when listening to this yt geniuses ...
I love that you put the goofy view on I’ve never been able to ride regular so thank you
I’m goofy footed too and I can’t ride regular
Same😂
yes i never see goofy footed people at the skatepark and it's annoying because im always heading in the direction of the regular footed people

Long feet for the win! Size 12

Thank you so much for doing it in goofy and regular! Best RUclips skater!🏅🏆
You taught me how to do my first kickflip! Thank you so much! I landed it today.
I'm learning kickflips rn, if the board is flinging out when you roll regular, try rolling fakie that way the board naturally goes more backward
yeah someone was walking by and i just did a fakie pop shuv so i tried a kickflip and nearly landed it on a bigger size 8 board lol
I’ve landed kickflips before but lost em during the winter gonna try today
Let me know if you're hyped for this new series! Watch the tutorial with more angles: ruclips.net/video/egE9OtC7B_E/видео.html
More please
Really liking this, can you do one for heelflip next! Thanks!

The hype is real.
That's actually an interesting concept lmao

flick up instead of flicking down

So, I can land with only my front foot and my back foot lands slight behind me what should I do
AND BACKSIDE 180s
Bro thank you so much, I started skating around 2 weeks ago and today I was finally able to land my first kick flip thanks to you
Fr?
@@hellomortality5886 landing a kickflip two weeks? It takes most people 3-6 months to get a shitty Ollie
Just landed my first kf tyyyyyy
Ayyyyy!
what about when the board doesn't flip at all it just flies in front of you is it because i'm not flicking ?
so underrated bro
:)
Great video!
Thanks!
when i try to kickflip i can land with my front foot but my back foot goes straight to the ground
Can you do ollie pov video next?
Will do! 👌🏽🔥
do a tre flip or front shuv
Really helped, I can't quite get it to flip but it won't go 9 feet in front of me.
it was great! pov
I have a question I seen a video that says I should pop and wait until I’m at the peak of the jump and than flick for the flip is that right?
Usually delaying the flick will result in a higher kickflip but I wouldn't recommend thinking about it too hard unless you already have kickflips and are trying to improve them.

I have the worst problem, my back foot won't go on no matter what, when I'm in the air, it has a mind of its own, it lands anywhere but on the board
same ive been stuck on having my backfoot do whatever for nearly 2 months
