Hello. Thanks for your info. I will buy REL soon. Quick question, what cable you used for your one sub woofer set up. Is it a split RCA ( dual male to 1 male RCA? ) sorry to bug you, man. Thanks again.
Great vid! Am currently trying to decide between the HT 1003 and 12" HT 1205 for movie use. My closed off space is about 1570 cubic ft (around 14x12x9). Do you think one HT 1003 will be enough? Or two 1003s, or one 1205? Thanks!
Yessir! Agree 100% on the DSP. Flat down to 20hz baby!!! Maybe they could do something like the OSD Trevoce DSP subs where they have a DSP bypass switch. Using a +/- 6dB spec is kinda....
As a 2-channel guy I avoid DSP... but a bypass switch seems like a must-have for any sub. Thanks for the heads-up Joe. By the way I have 2 of these HT-1205's and they are phenomenal for music.

Hello, Any advice, i can get this REL HT1003 for $1000 AUD or a REL TX5i for $900AUD. I only listen to music. For value for money should i go for the HT1003 ? Being a bigger driver and good reviews for sound? This is for a single sub setup. Thanks
Now that I’ve had the pleasure of listening to the SVS PB-1000 Pro, I need more subs to compare it to! These little subs seem cool. I like tight clean bass.
Great, your timing can't be more on point. First the Zappiti videos and now this sub review. Recently bought a Zappiti and your videos about ripping was very helpful. Also I am looking for a new sub and this Rel or maybe one of the bigger models is on my list of contenders. So this review comes in very handy. Thanks!

What cross over would be best for this sub. I have a pioneer amp that only crosses over at 50, 80,100, 150 and 200. When I let the amp do the xover it sets to 80 htz on the sound set-up ,doesn't have the deep base for explosions so set to 200htz and used the xover on the sub at 9 o'clock position. Volume is as per your setting. Sounds better but not sure if I have it set too low now. I'm only using very old kef towers so I doubt they go that low.
Hey Chana, this sub looks amazing, but, it's a tad bit out of my price range. I'm in the market for a new sub for my setup, maybe in the $150-200 range. I've heard good things about Dayton Audio Sub 1200 , as well as ones from Klipsch and Polk. What would you suggest???
