All things considered (even with all the mistakes), you played a rather polished game! Always super enjoyable to watch this crew play Oath! EDIT: Hopefully, the next game isn't so far off
Oath is always fun to watch. I'm so chuffed you're continuing with the campaign. I love watching you all play and wringing your hands and wrecking your brains. It's a brilliant game!
Great game folks! Love an Oath game! BTW, you were talking about how the Chancellor will only control one sitr in the next game but that's not right. Chancellor always starts with warbands in each face-up site.
Such a fun gameplay! I just think you forgot to follow Narrow's Pass rule, which doesn't allow anyone to move into the Hinterland (in this case) without passing by it. Ex: Alyssa did it in round 4
The die to decide if the game ends or not is such an interesting design. Of course, some hate the randomness - it means things can't be mathed out, predicted etc - but personally, I love it because often it makes players do whatever they can each round, rather than, for example, just build and wait.
Whelp, that was kind of a masterful win. So much pressure on Edward, and eventually nothing could be done to stop the win. Awesome job, and great game. Please more Oath!
Would've been good if Ed could've got the trading card out from hinterlands discard pile, got the darkest secret and then got the ruin card from world deck meaning he could've got rid of Shrey's secrets before his turn, but I doubt there was enough supply for it, even with the extre 2 supply available (although someone else might've got the ruins card).
Thank you so much for doing these playthroughs of Oath. I think this was a particularly good episode with good description of strategy for those at home. One suggestion I have is to use a different player count for one episode. Oath is supposed to be a game where the group can change between campaigns with exiles floating in and out. Does this actually work? I am especially interested to see what happens at 6 players to see the effect of more Citizens.
There's a point where there Exile Players don't have access to enough Visions, the Chancellor has a LOT of putting out fires to do (instead of playing), and if too many Exiles turn to Citizens.. then the Empire gets choked with Supply if too many Warbands come out. I think 4 Players is THE way to play this game.
Great show! I love your Oath videos! Its such a special game! I suggestion if you decide to play again in the future. Time limits, Let each player have a maximum of 2min to perform their entire turn. In this way you make it impossible to map out too many combination to perform the turn, this actually is very fun way to play as these Pax games often needs it as there is so much open information, so the gameplay actually becomes much more satisfying when you have a soft time limit. Just lile chess, perfect information need a timer. Test it! 😊
On Alyssa's first turn she was not allowed (due to Gossip) to play a card as a face-down advisor. But couldn't she still have played her _vision_ face-down? Aren't visions and advisors two different things? Or does a vision count as an 'advisor' when placed amongst the other advisors?
Absolutely LOVE the Oath and John Company streams! Will watch as many as you choose to play.
I’m with you!

Love the game. Watched whole season of your Oath playthrough :D Keep going, guys!
1:20:00 Alyssa ignores the narrow pass?
Why shrey Is moving in the hinterland spending only 2 supplies?
So happy this series seems to be continuing, it's such a good match for this group!
Watched all your Oath vídeos so far. Thank you guys for this wonderful time ''together''. Cheers from Brazil!

Chancellor only rules each faceup site with a denizen or intact edifice at setup, but is guaranteed to rule the top Cradle site. So it is just one
Shrey pouting about not getting to smack Ken made me do a spit-take! Love wathcing y'all play OATH and can't wait for the next stream
1:17:05 -- how is it "one to move" when Edward moves from Provinces to the Salt Flats in Cradle, not to the Barren Coast?
Good game crew. Love the series. looking forward to the next one.

best show out there after succession. hopefully we get a few more episodes.
Can't wait for chapter 8!
Did Edward need to move into Shrey's space to recover the darkest secret? Can't you recover it from anywhere? 1:59:35
you can. You need to be colocated only when you're taking it by campaign or using conspiracy
Thank gawd another Oath. More of this please! Please let Alyssa win this one! I'd also would love to see you all play Scythe and 1846.
Whelp, that was kind of a masterful win. So much pressure on Edward, and eventually nothing could be done to stop the win. Awesome job, and great game. Please more Oath!
Yesss been waiting for this!!

The latter. Hence it played the way it did👍🏼
Hi guys
Please tell me you are planning a chapter 8
Some great streams of this, though HC is having a highly detrimental effect on my bank balance. 😂
Is this where we are supposed to say sorry?
@@Heavycardboard More like Cole owes you some commission. First JC2e, now Oath.
"Secrets, secrets, secrets"... Was that a Vai reference?😅
