The Arcs and Through the Ages were great streams. So was Weimar...and Oath...and...
For me, one of the best things about HC is that they still give some love to classics such as Dominant Species, Caylus, Ra, The Great Zimbabwe, etc. Keep up the great work HC!
So Arcs campaign didn't happen :) Any plans for it in the near future?
Yeah... 2v2 Pericles ... but also Wir sind das Volk (with expansion)
Good call!
My favorite stream of the last year has to be a tie between the arcs campaign and cuba libre
Thanks for chiming in. Why those specifically?
@Heavycardboard I think your group's strengths lie in the personalities around the table, and games like these allow those personalities to interact. They're more face to face and less heads down.
I give every game that looks promising a chance, but as soon as a box says Board&Dice, it gets less promising to me. I seek interaction driven games with just the right amount of complexity (which can be a lot, i.e Lacerda), but the B&D games seems more mechanically driven and often with unintuitive and themeless mechanisms that are there just for the sake of making the games more complex. Not at all ny cup of tea, sadly. That being said, Nucleum is the best game they have released in quite a while in my opinion.
