Everyone used to laugh at me when I put a huge tarp over my entire tent and even extended it out over the side so I could store shoes and stuff beside the tent without them getting wet and it made a porch in front so I could come outside and put my shoes on without getting soaked in the rain. Yeah they all laughed until the rains came and they all had puddles in their tent and mine was nice and dry LOL great setup and video 👍💯😅👍 the jacket for ASMR was the cutest thing ever 💓😊💯🐕
Saif taught me the tarp over the tent to and I do it all the time now. But know I have to find a better staking solution for when it's really windy cause the tarp just pulls the stakes right out of the sugar sand here in florida

Either way- always a joy to peruse your new kit and gear; like your Trekology pillow- I use the Klymit X pillows: good for the mellon & between the knees. Also have a 3 peeps 3 season duel entry dome tent; one side for gear & a corridor in the middle for EZ access. We have alot of the same gear & it’s been very satisfying watching you both utilize all of it. My sis & I just got back from 3 daze/2 nites at Promised Land State Park here PA. Down in the mid 30s both nites. Appreciate the hoody for darling Roxy- very wise decision. Be blessed in your endeavors! Ciao Brother ☮️

Sleeping in a tent has the disadvantage that apart from moose there are terrible bears that can kill with their paws, are you not afraid to sleep in a tent?

I went to the store and bought really heavy duty tent stakes and they held it in even after it rained.

It totally depends on the setup. Personally, I like my 10ftx12ft Gold Armour tarp.
Just to ask, your Coleman Tent originally came with 1 layer only ?
The tent has a rainfly, I didn't put it on because I have the tarp.
