Hi thinking of purchasing for night metal detecting will they be any good also have fox's around my bit have they a head strap for hands free. Thanks. 👍🏴
Thank you GoNature for a wonderful review video! If you, or any of your viewers have any questions (or suggestions for improvements), we're always happy to hear them!
I still have one question: What do you recommend to people who wear glasses? When I hold the Nightfox Corsac to my eyes, the display is too close for me so that I see the image blurred. I'll look around for a pair of small reading glasses with a high diopter to see if that solves my problem. Do you have any other recommendations?
@@markusz1956 thank you for getting in touch, it is an issue that we are looking into to try to find a solution, though this will probably become a modification on a future Nightfox release. The best thing I can suggest is as you had mentioned trying to find a small pair of reading glasses, I am so sorry I couldn't provide a more helpful answer at this time. Please let us know how you get on, if you aren't able to resolve the issue we'd be happy to refund you.
@@user-gv8kh3cd8m We don't have any plans at the moment to bring out an upgraded Corsac with a USB rechargeable battery, but I will pass your idea along to our design team. Currently we have a number of other units that have an inbuilt rechargeable battery, such as our Nightfox Swift, the soon to be released Nightfox Red (Dec 2021/Jan 2022) and the Cub which has a removeable battery. I hope this helps answer your question.
It looks like the corsac is not suitable for helmet mounting. I actually wanted to, but I have now ordered it anyway because the resolution of the display is much better ...
Thanks for the video. I ordered the Nightfox Corsac from Nightfox yesterday. A conclusion (advantages and disadvantages) between the Corsac and 110R would have been interesting. Maybe you will add that as a comment?
I sold my 110r and now only use the corsac but i've not used it enough the properly comment yet. So far it's brilliant for my needs (watching wildlife from our property)
@@Go-Nature Thank you for your answer. In the meantime I have received the Nightfox Corsac and was able to test it briefly. I am very happy with it and it offers a higher resolution than any other Night Vision binocular for this price. A 3x, respectively. 6x zoom is absolutely sufficient for a night vision binocular. I still found a good instruction video ... ruclips.net/video/UAGsTO11Seo/видео.html

what is the FOV on this thing
with no infrared illumination at night does it amplify ambient light?
Yes it does. Amazingly!
You helped me decide. Thanks
How does the range compare to the 110R would you say?
That would interest me too…. ;-)
The Nightfox 110R has a maximum range of 150 meters at night and the Corsac has the superior range of 180 meters at night. I hope this helps!
Thanks man! Been thinking about getting this for my helmet setup!

Would this work for stargazing?
