Balaji was one of the finest pace baller we had in the Indian cricket team.. Unfortunately he couldn't have a longer stint for the National team.

He is good with new ball and old ball when it reverse. Otherwise you can hit him all day and night. No much variation but that wasn't an era of variation either. But didn't had that raw pace as well. @@shikharashish7616 That's only because pitches were bowlers friendly in those days. It was very hard for batsman to hit. Those bowlers were not that good. Today's bowlers like Bumrah, Mitchell Starc, Archer are much better because's today's pitches are batsman friendly, the boundary is much shorter , teams are giving preferences to batsman. Mitchell Starc took 27 wickets in a complete batsman friendly pitches which was more than how many wickets McGrath took in bowler friendly pitches in world cup.Enough said
