There is an epic one from the older days that should be in this list: South Africa vs New Zealand, 1994-95. Shane Thomson (NZ) blocked a delivery from a South African spinner and just stood there, posing with his forward defensive stroke (as if for the cameras). Hansie Cronje at Silly Point calmly picked up the ball and ran him out. It was hilarious.
I have a vague recollection of Alec Stewart pulling off a run-out in similar circumstances. However IIRC on that occasion the batsman had come forward, been struck on the pad and England had appealed for LBW. The batsman stood where he was (out of his crease) to show the umpire how far forward he had come, but while he was there, Alec picked the ball up and ran him out.

I think, the same thing also happened in T20 WC 2023, during India vs Pakistan match, where Kohli was bowled on a free hit and the ball deviated towards deep thrid man region. Even then Virat and DK took 3 runs, every Pakistani player in the TV frame were asking questions about how could they run 3 after getting bowled, they were confused and in this chaos they ran 3 runs. And on that same balll, when DK was on the danger end, Rizwan (Pak keeper)(as the bails were already dislodged), took the stump in the one hand, even before collecting the ball. DK had already dived and he was safe already but, he would have been not out since Rizwan did that mistake here. I always find this funnny, it was the best t20 match so far.
