I'd love to see a top 100 prospect list from you or maybe even some of the best prospects in each system type video. I really like your draft and prospect content as you're one of the only big baseball youtubers that consistently delves into it and have been watching them for years. Keep up the good work!
@@aaronwitt03 yea as a sox fan im so excited after being mediocre for a little now. Finally have a legit farm system with really good guys. Future is looking bright with prospects and young players currently on the roster as well. A big free agency can instantly push this team into the playoffs next year and make us contenders for years to come IMO if everything goes well
True, their 2 left are big time All Star caliber bats, though. But because there's no pitching prospects, they're going to have to trade some of those young bats or buy pitching.
Great run down. Thanks! League Manager of a Dynasty League approaching our 20th year. Always looking to fill a team or two every year with new owners, sadly.
I watched E-Rod when he played for the Cedar Rapids Kernels (A+) and he was head a shoulder better than anyone there. His swing was awesome and so was his eye in the box. He’s going to be good.
Owen Caissie 19:40 “amazing trade the cubs made to get him”. They gave up yu Darvish and 3 of the other prospects they got are either released or hitting below 250 in A ball
Bubba Chandler improved his stock at AAA. This is the first year that he focused solely on pitching, and by the end of the year, he wasn't walking anyone and he was nearly unhittable. He isn't Paul Skenes, but he is damn close. He will be the Pirates #2 pitcher be the AS break. Skenes, Chandler, Jones and Keller is a great top 4, unfortunately, the BP will be terrible and the offense is weak.
Got to see Xavier Isaac play all year at the High-A level as the club's team photog, and people are sleeping on his hit tool a little bit. When he gets a hold of one, it can go a mile, but he can run and hit gap to gap really well.
As a Lawlar owner in fantasy its painful to see him just sticking around the top 10 for 2 years and would prolly stay up but just continues to get injured
I cant understand why andrew painter has barely dropped but they just completely forgot about daniel espino when they have both not pitched in the same amount of time
I take MLB pipeline and other lists with a grain of salt these days. As an A's fan seeing players like Lawrence butler and Zack Gelof(though had a down year) not make the list as prospects makes me question their knowledge. I think players like Colby Thomas and Henry Bolte really deserve to be on this list over some players
The Rockies always get the criticism on their pitching, and I mean rightfully so, but no FA pitcher wants to sign there so there only option is to draft SP. Now they drafted a really damn good SP and now they’re getting punished for that too?
I actually went to highschool with Aidan Miller which is pretty cool, I never hung out with him bc he was a senior I was a freshman, but still cool we went to the same school at the same time 🔥
Just to clarify I know you can be friends with seniors as a freshman, but I had no classes with him. I also quit baseball at that point because he played the same position I played, I kinda just gave up at that point for that reason and some other personal reasons. Just a cool bit of info I figured I’d share!
@@ShaneNewbanksCam Smith is that guy for sure...he's become a monster at the plate and solid 3B possibility in the past 18 months. Shaw has the ability to be that guy, or close as a 2B, too(he rakes and will at MLB). Can't write off Caissie as elite, yet...will play early in '25. Have to keep in mind the Cubs also have literally 3 guys that hit MLB this year in '24 that showed they can be All Star level talent(PCA robbed of GG finalist and the bat came alive last 2 months...Ben Brown nasty as a starter or bullpen...Hodge looks really solid as a back end BP guy(which is a huge need)).
It's at least comforting that they'll suck in the late 20s and early 30s, when the massive deferred contracts of Shohei, Yamamoto and others come to roost, and their stars are finally aged/digressing.
Geraldo Perdomo is the diamondbacks shortstop for the next five years so no Lawler will not be there any time soon, he will be playing third by middle of the year unless Geno is having a start like the finish this year. Geno should be playing first for the dbacks and Lawler should be at third anyway.
What a bizarre list! It's chock full of guys who have never accomplished anything at AA or above. There are guys on it fresh out of college or even high school, guys who spent last season injured, guys who are only on the list because they throw hard or they have big bodies, guys who dominated single A or below. BS.
How is Dana and Moore so low even though Dana was arguably the best double AA pitcher last year and Moore was better then guys like Cagilone and Bazzana but is 60 spots lower
Salas has to be the most overrated prospect relative to the hype he gets. De Vries looks like he's supporting his hype even with the extremely young age/experience difficulty so that makes Salas' overrating ranking so much worse and questionable, there are others in similar age in this top 100 list who should have that ranking more than him, he's not even THAT projectable to have him that high either. I think he's a top 100 guy but not top 50 as of this moment especially with the production.
I don't rate Jazz highly. I think Ramirez De Los Santos and Serna are going to improve that roster in 2025. I think by the time jazz hits free agency we’ll be saying the Yankees made a mistake. Similar to Mike Lowell back in the day. De Los Santos and Ramirez will contribute in 2025 and combined will out perform Chisholm. The Yankees don't have high rated prospects that will help them in trades. I think Dominguez is a bust
Can you never say anything good about the Rockies? I mean for the spirit of the game can you act like you don’t hate them. They have a lot of young talent and could be very good soon.
Jasson Domínguez being called a prospect for almost a decade at this point lmao
Still only 21
Highest upside, but to many injuries, and is still younger than 99.99% of the league.
@@tgorefan 11 year old prospect. Gotta draft them early
And still younger than a lot of guys in the top 100

Red Sox have 6 prospects in the top 100 and 3 in the top 10
As an Orioles fan the Red Sox are going to be insanely good possibly as soon as 2025

So Ferris and Buehler are on the Dodgers together? How did no one catch this?
MLB actually made a IG post about it after the trade for Ferris happened
And just remember this, Tim Salmon is only the 2nd best Angels outfielder with a fish name.
People have though
One name to watch is Arjun nimmala. I could see him skyrocket through rankings next year with what he did in the 2nd half
"Mr. Kurtz" LMFAOOO

Not much of a surprise that the Orioles don't have that many prospects in MLB as many have graduated.
True, their 2 left are big time All Star caliber bats, though. But because there's no pitching prospects, they're going to have to trade some of those young bats or buy pitching.
For those who don't know the Rockies farm system is incredibly underrated
It is and they honestly shouldn't trade Dollander. Gotta keep him cause he's the future

As a brewers fan, Jesus Made should 100% be atleast around the 90’s dude is a top 20 prospect in about 2 years

Nice to see Pipeline isn’t totally in the dark on the best sleepers in the class like Genao and Rosario.. just need Michael Arroyo in there!!
Would LOVE a top 100 prospect list from you!!!
