- On August 19th, 2017, Savanna Greywind was invited round to help her neighbor Brooke Crews, to model in a dress that she was apparently sewing. Unknowingly to poor Savanna, that would be the last time she was ever seen alive.
What happened to the 22-year-old 8-month pregnant woman is absolutely unimaginable. Brooke Crews wanted her baby so bad, that she forcibly ripped the baby from Savanna’s womb.

Cases of women stealing other's babies from the womb is SO incredibly evil. For such a seemingly thought out scheme, they never seem to realize that people are GOING to figure it out. You have a new baby, w no hospital to confirm it AND there's a missing pregnant woman. This case is unusual bc her man HELPED her. I just CAN'T believe this has happened as many times as it has 😭
They're psychopaths. They shouldn't ever have kids.
This one just seems so ignorant.....they lived in the same complex as mom and dad right? Regardless people would end up hearing the baby cry. So senseless and sad.

Wow! I am so glad that the baby survived this ordeal, but I sure wish they would not have reduced the man’s sentence reduces. That sucks. This kind of crime is so horrible I can’t really wrap my head around it. Thank you for your recap! Take care and blessings!

If everyone in the building heard murderers arguing before, how come no one heard victim screaming and a newborn baby crying?

Oh, my. Such a bad beginning to an innocent life, and a bad end to beautiful momma. A true crime tragedy.
It's wild to me people ever think they will get away with this. A new baby with 0 paperwork or pregnancy dr appointments...
How would they ever register the baby for school, social programs, anything. Even with emotions removed this plan made absolutely no sense.
Yet we're seeing cases of babies snatched right out of the maternity ward being foind decades later...also fetal abductors are counting on the typical police tunnel vision/internet lynch mob...the victims bf/husband did it. Nearly worked in the Heidi Broussard case
A very similar case happened in Chicago to Marlen Ochoa Lopez. The ironic thing about that case is the womb raider was soon to be a grandmother because her daughter was pregnant. Completely senseless in any case.
She was a beautiful mom, and she was so excited to BE a mother. What that imbecilic couple did is unforgiveable. RIP, Savanna

My heart aches for the mother, grandmother of the sweet baby girl. How shockingly horrific to discover that your beautiful pregnant daughter walked into such a brutal & senseless attack all within the same building, under the same roof. How tragic!! & for what?!? How often do these sick, disturbed woman actually get away with it & get to keep the baby??!?? Not often, let's hope never! But the horrendous, irreversible act is already committed. Thankfully the baby survives most of the time in attacks like this. I can't even imagine the thought process of someone who even considers something like this, let alone to actually go through with it. My thoughts are with Savanah's family & loved ones, & that precious baby girl 💗🙏
I was pregnant in 1983. So many women asked to rub my stomach. I bet that doesn’t happen anymore.
It does where I work. I work at a natural foods store, and it's mostly spiritual people, old hippies, woke millennial and such. I just rubbed and whispered into a customer's belly last week, no joke! (I'm 52😁)

This story is one of the worst & brutal stories. It's the one that haunts you. 🤦♀️🥵 So tragic. RIP Savannah. I'm so happy "baby girl" is with her father though, I guess in this horrible story that's the only thing to be happy about. 🤷♀️🤔

There is truly no justice for this horrific tragedy. The thought of what this poor woman had to experience before dying, I just can't wrap my head around. Hopefully prison will make them suffer daily until the day they die!!! Thanks for sharing ❤️✌️

This is one of the most horrific crimes ever executed. Specifically the "womb raider" crime. Which invariably causes death. At least I don't know of a case where it hasn't. When somebody is stealing and cutting the baby out of somebody's womb obviously they're not trying to keep the mother alive too. Disgusting that the guy's sentence got reduced to 20 years. He was obviously the impetus for the crime occurring in the first place.
Michelle Wilkins survived the same thing, the baby didn't though, she testified against her, so tragic
@@erinkinsella91 I would think it could be survivable, as long as the descending aorta is not cut. But it's still obviously murder if the baby died. It's the craziest kind of assault anyone could perpetrate on someone to cut the baby out of their womb. I guess one expects women could at least be cherished when they're pregnant but no, they're still hunted. But in this event I guess typically by a female.
That is such a sad case. The picture of her dead baby looking like a little angel that they showed during the trial upset me so much. She was brought the dead baby in the hospital because she wanted to hold her. I probably would have committed suicide after this.

Isn't it amazing how some love and cherish their children while others don't think of their children as being any more than trash to be discarded. RIP, Savannah. Your baby girl is safe at home with her father and grandparents.

My heart goes out to the poor victims family her baby will never grow up with her mother it's amazing how the baby survived and I am extremely glad the father has the baby I hope that couple get a life sentence for the evil they did and pain and suffering caused to the family
I lived in North Dakota when this happened. There have been many murders in the time I lived there but the two that his me the most was this case and Megan in Grand Forks 2021. NDSU students tied up in some weird drug thing led to to some missing persons later found murdered. There is so little information out there about them.
A horrible loss of a young native woman. I'm so glad her baby survived. 😭

Every time I hear about this case, I can't help but find myself distracted, wondering how the f this whiter than white woman thought that she was going to fool her equally white boyfriend, and how they were possibly going to raise a native American baby as their own biological child..? Obviously the whole crime is senseless, but I shudder to think of how much worse it could have been for the baby, if the boyfriend had not come home when he did, and she had actually tried to convince him that the beautiful baby girl was her daughter by birth... The fact that the baby survived, and was (physically) unharmed is truly miraculous, considering how psychotic BOTH of these people are.
Her bf knew she wasn't pregnant but told her she better produce a baby, so she did. He knew it wasn't his or hers and that she killed Savanah for her baby

These stores are great,I myself can't get enough of The Zodiac, I was in San Diego while I was in the Marines, one marine I got to know was a son of a cop that lived were the Zodiac crimes had takin place,we went to 3 locations, one was were he stabbed the two kids that were down by the lake...and let me tell you it was very eerie, then he took me to were to Zodiac called 911,the phone both wasn't there no more but just being there made me uneasy..crazy story.
I'm close to Lake Beryessa and have riden my morotrcyclr in that area. BUT,
I used to have to commute to work, and took the road that connects Lake Herman Benicia to Vallejo. There was an area that used to always freak me out; 😳 I didn't know why. When in my car or on my motorcycle, this one spot would make me go super slow around that sweeping turn. There was a "no dumping" sign on that corner too, it always had a Zodiac symbol painted on it. (It would get cleaned and then a few days later it would be back) I had no idea why.
Then, I was watching a video on the Zodiac once and I realized that my route to work passed 2 of the crime scenes! 😳 That one corner that always bugged me was the on that road heading to Lake Herman in Benicia, and was a spot that the Zodia killed and attempted to kill a couple. (The boy survived)
FREAKED ME THE F OUT! I had no idea I was driving past those spots. After that everythime I went by those two areas, I would say to the dead that I'm sorry that happened to them and I hope they rest in peace.
It still freaks me out that that corner bothered me so badly BEFORE I knew that it was one of the Zodiac crime scenes. 😱😳😱😳

This is absolutely positively an discussing evil story. The exact same thing happened to an girlfriend of mine. A school mate of her's killed her and took her unborn baby at 8 months! The survived also . His father and grandmother raised the child! The child had problems growing up knowing what happened to his mother! When this evil women commit these evil crimes they definitely deserve the death sentence!

Great presentation but you always find a way to present the worst of our society in a way that makes us use our brains, most others don't challenge us. This is a lot like the story of the woman who cut the baby out of a pregnant woman, in Missouri. The killer paid for her crimes with her life. Such a beautiful and loving mother's life snuffed out by the cruel and inhuman actions of animals. I hope neither of them ever see the light of day outside the walls of the prison they deserve to die in. Hopefully the people of the State voted the incompetent incompetent judge out of office. That would be a true victory for her. Hope her daughter grows up to become a positive member of her Tribal Community.

And this is also a misnomer aboit this type of case....sje didn't want a baby ...she NEEDED one to hang on to a bf...the bsby is jist an object to jee ...and he got caught up in iner insanity but since hes a piece of trash who abuses babies and women he helped jer instead of turning her in..

Thanks for the recap. This is truly sad. I remember watching a movie based on a girl who befriends a girl online and the one online pretends to be pregnant and does this. I can't remember what the movie was called but it said it was based on a true story.
Such a brutal crime that never goes well for the perp. Such a lovely Mum to be and her daughter is just like her, so so sad.

I have no idea how people who do this think theyre going to get away with it. Babies require a social security number, documentation, testing, etc. Even if you walk into a hospital with a newborn and tell them you gave birth theyre still going to examine the 'mother' and take blood, make sure everythings okay. Theyd figure out right away just by a pregnancy test that she was never pregnant and that baby isnt hers. After giving birth it takes weeks if not months for the LH hormone to go back to normal and its a literal $1 test to figure out the deception. I just dont think these types of people think beyond the baby itself.
Though Ive often wondered how many peoples kids have died and the parent goes out to kidnap another child in its place and got away with it. But thats just me speculating senarios.
My cousin dated a womb raider. The case where the pregnant mother was able to kill her attacker from northern ky. He said when they dated she tried to say she was pregnant with his baby... it's scary being pregnant.... for many many reasons
