This episode brings to mind a saying my mother always used to tell me growing up; "if he'll cheat on his wife with you, he'll cheat on you with somebody else". She would know a lot about that since my mother she's been married five times😅 13:04 though she is still with my father. 😊

If you spend time around someone if they don't take their cell phone to the bathroom and they're hanging out at her place and she takes a shower, for example, Paul would have had time to go on Caroline's phone and make a call asking about the bullets. They're just looking at the record of the phone call not necessarily the idea that the proprietor would remember who called from what number when in terms of male or female. Also, Paul had motive with big life insurance policies and he obviously is a scumbag and relatively clever so I actually would pin it on him. It's possible that it was Caroline, but there's certainly reasonable doubt in this case. Obviously haven't heard all the evidence, but I wonder if Paul's the one who should have served time for this murder or if it was actually Caroline. Another one of those crazy ultimately unprovable cases. Although it looks like the state did their job for her to have gotten the time.❤

That she seemed to chase men who were not highly ethical means that she set herself up for these kinds of problems. On the other hand, maybe men of good ethics saw her as toxic and avoided her. When you said that four people in the first trial voted "innocent," I tend to think that these jurors may have been split between those who saw her as innocent and those who thought that she might be guilty but that the prosecution hadn't met the burden of proof.
