I am about $700 into Stellar Crown. I am a firm believer that Surging Sparks will be the best set out of Scarlett and Violet. The Dragon types will shine along with everyone's top 5 Pokémon, Pikachu!
Ordered a case from my LGS for about $105 a booster box (traded a bunch of singles I didn’t want to get the case down from $630 to $550). Tempted to hold on to the case and order 2 more boosters to rip open. I’m not an investor nor do I collect sealed products but I really like how this set is looking and wish I had sealed boosters of all the SWSH sets I liked. I have my fingers crossed that they throw a Flygon SIR into this set.

People getting carried away with FOMO as usual. Give it a week or two after release and you'll be able to find booster boxes for less than 100 on titkok with the constant coupons.

This is what I expect from the hard core sealed guys when Team Rocket makes its next appearance in a few months. Didn't realize Steam Siege errrrrrr I mean Surging Sparks was such a promising set.

Margins are very thin and a lot of people doing it. But from distribution a lot of bigger places get the boxes at $85-95 depending. So they can sell at $100-110 and still make a tiny profit. Many are forced to do it because the competition is so high it races to the bottom. Many stores are under capitalized as well and need their $$ back as quickly as possible to survive. They need to order certain amounts to keep their distribution allocations up though. They might even sell at a small loss at times
I thought this set was going to be big but it looks average. Fusion strike and cosmic eclipse are the only English sets to have a card count over 300 ( including secret rares ).
Every pokemon "investor" are all saying buy it all, i wonder why they want people to buy it all... Definitely not so demand looks insane and they profit for sure....
In my opinion you do not need to apologize for the AI art!!! The way you used it was exactly the way it should be used! Using it as a placeholder while real art is being created is perfectly acceptable, anyone getting upset at you using it are the same people you will never be able to please.
I think the reason people were upset was because he didn't mention it was a placeholder, at least as far as I know. I only saw the image in his recent Crown Zenith video.
Placeholder or not is irrelevant, stop hate mongering is the bottom line. AI is fine no matter how somebody decides to use it, and shame on you ALL for judging somebody else's choices

People lose jobs everyday in the business world due to new computer applications. Hoping a new technology won't affect you is a losing proposition.

I absolutely agree that it's an excellent TOOL, but sadly greedy corporations and people take advantage of it to not pay and lay off artists. Not to mention, most AI art is created by stolen art (you input artist's real art into the AI to "train" it, usually without permission). The computer isn't really "creating," but rather using already made art and piecing it into something "new." This is also a growing issue in the voice acting community where the actual companies are taking their employee's voices to train their AI, causing voice actors to go on strikes right now. The issues even run into Google Docs, etc. It's everywhere.
