Good scores Kieran - had the Hugh Mundell, Fontella and Bohannon in my collection for a long time. Digging in a new area is fun but bringing records home can be a real logistical challenge as I've discovered on my trips to Arizona in years past. Cheers!
Finding anything at below discogs price is a serious challenge these days unfortunately. Zia has many locations and I found something good at all of them. Not cheap but not way over priced either
I liked Stinkweed and the store around the corner. In Groove seems like the classic angry old guy elitist record store. Good selection and pre-orders though.
I live in San Diego and never miss stopping at uncle Aldo’s when I’m out visiting my mother-in-law.
I’ve met both Desi and his sister. Great shop!
YEZZZUR MY MAN, IT DOES DEPEND ON WHEN YOU PLAY CERTAIN RECORDS, AT WHAT TIME A YEAR.

Nice!! Ans yes. So fun to dig fresh to you crates. When I was getting ready to go home I was like shit. This is more than I planned for. 😂
That Leroy Hutson album is amazing. I'll buy that second copy from you!
YOU'VE GOT GREAT TASTE MY MAN.
LOOK AT THAT DYNAMITE IN BACK OF HIM!!!!!!!
I am looking for jazz but also used rock. Looking for rare stuff at a below-discogs price. Is Zia the best option?

LOVE the joe bataan!
Had been on the wantlist for a few years now !
Oh man I need to check out that Fontella Bass LP. I hope you told everyone at the In Groove that Fremer is God.
What cities in AZ?
