Watched both of these recent updates. Lotta heat in there! Definitely want to procure that Tony Williams Spring at some point. That Griot Galaxy looked pretty interesting for one. Cool and varied stuff as always Kieran. Oh and I finally got Texier's Amir just recently too. That same press I believe but got a discount since I paid for the 1st on Eurodisc. Take care!
Great to see those Blues pickups. Been digging into the Blues a ton lately. Solid Thornton grab. Never see that one in the bins. That Tony Williams is a favorite on the label. Looks like a really nice copy. That one can be hard to find not beat up. Peace.
Wow nice Muddy! I know you said that King Errisson isn’t essential but definitely intrigues me with Calvin being on it. Gonna have to check it out. I’m in the camp that does enjoy Way Out West, have found a few copies but they’re always torched. Cheers man!
Nice pickups K...never seen that Luis Gasca before, I have The Little Giant and For Those Who Chant by him, then I guess there's a later one called Collage that people have posted but I've never come across. Was just eyeing the Calvin Keys albums on Black Jazz in the collection today, I was picking up those reissues as they came out. King Errison I've heard of but don't recognize that cover either, sounds intriguing. Hope you are well, cheers ✌
I don’t think I had seen it either. And I have seen the collage one you speak of but haven’t heard it. Calvin Keys’ on on BJ are amazing. Grabbed the reissues as well. Thanks for tuning in Doug. Doing well over here. Winter is upon us. ✌️
@@NEEDLEGROOVEVINYL yes, i think you are right. There was many of his records, also selftitled from 1959 for 25eur, i was on the edge to buy something :)

First time I come across a copy of Spring. I don’t buy many blues albums as you know but when I see cool stuff I grab it. I do love the blues.

And it’s definitely one you need a clean copy of to appreciate.

Curson's Tears for Dolphy is one beautiful recording.
Indeed it is! I was so happy to find it
Just listened to that Mongo lp in store but didnt buy, though it sounded great, only a bit too pricy.
I guess it was overpriced then because it should be a cheap record!
