I think this very same LCD is on sale on Banggood today with an another smaller LCD (2.4 inches) along with an Arduino Uno for $10. That's why I'm here actually. I ordered a set because it was so cheap, now I need to figure out what I'll do with it once it arrives.
hey, Jeff here, i am in Australia. i have noticed in all the videos i have watched on the TFT screens, no one has shown how to do the wiring of them to the arduino and the shield. Do you think you could revisit this area and show me how it is done please ? I am really just starting out in the electronic area and have no idea on how to do any of it. Thankyou heaps.
Sometime between when you did this review and July 2017, Elegoo created their own modified versions of the Adafruit libraries, they even leave all of Adafruits copyright info and just substitute Elegoo for Adafruit. So for folks looking for a TFT that will use the Adafruit TFTLCD and Adafruit GFX libraries... well, they just may not work anymore. I have noticed several folks with OLED modules using the Adafruit GFX libraries. I think a good solution would be to use the manufacturers display driver (in this case the Elegoo TFTLCD library) and the Adafruit GFX library, so the one library could be used for multiple display modules. Next week I am going to look at the feasibility of using the Adafruit GFX library. If this is not possible I will just get the Adafruit display an let the Elegoo gather dust.

Sayantan Maiti it takes almost all of the pins on an Uno. It will work much better with a mega.
Please make a future video of making a photo frame with this display and a SD card
