Must be because in 3-4 of the weeks he has been shun and gotten no love from Travis.
I don't think he has ever truly love someone. So this strong attraction to Travis might feel like love to him. Fingers crossed their relationship is gonna develop and he will truly feel love
I just think he hasn’t had someone treat him in the way Travis does before and he said I think which probably means he isn’t sure what love is and he’s probably falling in love with him while he might be in love with the idea of him plus he is coming to acceptance with his sexuality so his love Alicia suddenly became different then what he thought it was or trying to force it to be

Travis is such an amazing character. He’s so strong and smart and brave; he deserves someone who treats him right and can only encourage him to be better. I like him and Emmett but I think if Travis wants something more, he should get it.
I was pissed off and devastated when they almost died. Then I was just devastated because Captain Pruitt died and now I'm pissed because he might not get the firefighter funeral he deserves. He may have been an "ex" firefighter but he died a firefighter's death so he deserves a firefighter's funeral.

Finally, Emmett has found the courage to be himself and he will potentially face the wrath of Chief Dixon and Alicia (his girlfriend) as a result. However, he should just back off from Travis. After all, he had hurt Travis badly so far in this Season: in Episode 8 ("Born to Run") when Emmett gave Travis the brush off in the bar where they had a drink to relax after they attended to the victims of
drunk driving; and in Episode 11 ("No Days Off") when Emmett's girlfriend came into the picture. Travis may be harsh in his treatment of Emmett, but he is right to keep his distance. He had been hurt so many times previously already, but he had been hurt several times by Emmett. He should just end this relationship, but he couldn't do so physically since Emmett is a colleague. Regardless of his personal disgust, Travis still maintained his professionalism towards a brother firefighter and this was highlighted when he saved Emmett in Episode 12 "I'll Be Seeing You" during the fire in the storage unit facility. Despite his caring attitude by having Emmett's back, Travis ended up being hurt again at the announcement by Chief Dixon. Travis deserves to be happy in a meaningful relationship with a guy who will NOT hurt him, intentionally or otherwise. Emmett, on the other hand, should take the hint and just back off by letting Travis find meaningful
happiness with a person who will not hurt him.
i think that the entire point of their relationship was to help Travis move on from Michael and for Travis to help Emmett stand up to his father
I love it. I started watching the show because of these two (haven't gotten to their episodes yet but I'm close) that being said, Travis is a little old for him isn't he? Emmett looks like a baby.
