Before Tommy, I've never seen this side of Buck before. He's totally a lovestruck puppy and I'm here for it! Even the short scenes between the two are nicely done.

Oliver is a brilliant actor and he's good with subtleties. Buck has been smiling a lot whenever he talks to Tommy. You can see how he feels about Tommy, regardless the topic of their conversation.

The evolution of the relationship between Buck and Tommy is a touchstone for any couple. The expert way the writers and cast have approached this storyline is remarkable. There may be obstacles in the future, but with the continued sensitivity and realism thus far, it will be a storyline which will capture the hearts of everyone. Kudos 911.

It’s crazy how they received so much hate when the writing and acting is phenomenal. If you’ve watched the series you always knew Buck was trying to find himself. They did a great job executing his journey.
The hate are mostly from two groups of people: the homophobic ones, and the toxic Buddie shippers who want Buck to be paired with Eddie. Both have posted disgusting intrusive comments. Better to not paying any attentions to them.

TK knew😂and I’m pretty sure if he wasn’t in a serious relationship with Carlos he would’ve happily taken Buck up on that offer.
they could have a great one night stand maybe. The but more I know Tk and Buck, the more I doubt that Buck and him could be a good match. Buck isn't stable enough and confident about what he is, what he wants that he wouldn't be stable enough to ground TK because TK is not stable enough either. both TK and Buck needs more mature partners. at least this are my thoughts. But even if I do love Tommy very much, and I consider Eddie a bit of a struggle too, I keep rooting for Buck and Eddie as a couple because their relationship is just so amazing and they are just what Christopher needs as parents in life. The three of them make such a wonderful family portrayal.

@@samaelhenryI doubt there would even be a one night stand. Buck had not realized yet that he could be attracted to men. And at that time, he was clearly attracted to Marjan. Buck might be a womanizer, but he was never a two-timer. He never gave his attention to two people at the same time.
So well put together. 👍🏽 I love the way this relationship is being developed. It’s totally natural to who Buck is and what he’s been/done in the past. A natural trajectory of a man at last finding his feet and being truly himself. The acting is terrific by them both. Buck’s expression when his face is all smudged was like a kid at a birthday party who’d had too much sugar. I hope they really make this his true romance and integrate it into the series for the long term. The characters, the series and I need this 😀❤️❤️👏🏼👏🏼

When I saw the thumbnail of this video, I thought, 'What a perfect montage-another fan video made to gain views like they used to do with Buck and Eddie.' As the video went on, I saw a lot of chemistry, and the selection of scenes was perfect. But when the two kissed for the first time, I actually screamed and jumped out of my seat. I couldn't believe the series was going in this direction after so many seasons.
I'm in love with Tommy and how confident he is, and it's cool to see how normal Eddie reacted. He wouldn't be a homophobic douchebag for sure.
The series is going to another level and has greatly awakened my desire to watch it again.
That “God I hope so” about the daddy issues at the very end 😂😂😂
First, I LOVE this. This is an amazing mash up of some of the BEST scenes of the season. Second, I must admit that even though I "thought" there were some hints, maybe some subtle inuendos, I always felt and wondered WHY Buck couldn't hold onto a relationship, but NO WAY did I think he could or would be into guys. Sure, the Buck/Eddie relationship was filled with possibilities, but I just never thought it would cross that line. And this is from a gay man who will be turning in his gaydar card any day now. That being said, I LOVE, LOVE, the portrayals of these characters and I hope the writers run with this/these storylines.
When Tim Minear, the co-creator of 9-1-1, was the showrunner in Season 1 & 2, we got a steamy lesbian session between Hen and Eva (her ex) and several intimate scenes with Karen, her wife. We also got hints that Buck had a crush on Eddie (who joined in Season 2). It seemed like Tim Minear planned to pair Buck with Eddie.
After Season 2, Tim left 9-1-1 to become the showrunner of its spin-off, 9-1-1: Lone Star. Tim was succeeded by Kristen Reidel. However, under Reidel's reign, we had no intimate queer scene whatsoever that Hen and Karen could practically be sisters🙄. On the other hand, we got several steamy scenes of Buck and his rotating girlfriends. However, she kept putting on the show several moments which could read as coincidences or close friendships between Buck & Eddie. Those moments were interpreted by fans as hints about their future romance.
Now that Tim Minear has been back as the showrunner since Season 7 (current season), we finally got a significant progress of Buck's queer journey.
Based on the above facts, I couldn't help but suspect that Kristen Reidel was actually hesitant to display physical intimacy between queer couples, while she didn't show similar restraint about straight couples. I guess that's why Buck & Eddie's potential romance never came to fruition under her direction. The hints or coincidences between Buck & Eddie which were on display under her reign felt like fans services only. Their purpose is to keep fans' interest on the show, but never actually moving the relationship into the next level.
Since now Tim has been back as the showrunner, I hope that Buck's queer journey would actually have substantial progress, and possibly a happy ending (with Tommy, of course😜).
@@tiararoxeanne1318 I also must admit that I really like the scene between Buck and Bobby when Bobby said he knew the relationship with Tommy was good for Buck because they haven't had to "talk" about it. That being said, I do wish they would have shown some more reactions from other crew members. Sure, the scene in the hospital room at Maddie and Chimney's wedding was really cute ( and well done), but even still, sometimes, there needs to be a talk to clarify, especially with folks like the parents (their faces were priceless). Clearly, everyone seems to be accepting of the relationship, but I still feel there needs to be some more discussion, if not with Buck and Tommy than among others on the team. Maybe those are still coming .....
@@michaelkrupar9808 If this relationship attracted enough viewers (which it seems does), there's plenty opportunity for those in Season 8. I believe in Tim Minear🤞, but fans need to show their support too.
@@michaelkrupar9808 I agree that Buck's conversation with Bobby was gold. It's a clever way to show acceptance without being obnoxious about it. If Tommy & Buck's relationship generates enough viewers (which I hope it does), there's a big chance we'll see a lot more of them in Season 8, as long as Tim Minear doesn't go anywhere else.

Yup. They chose the right actor to be Buck's first (and hopefully only) boyfriend. I mean, Buck has been low-key crushing on Eddie for years, and Eddie is one damn fine hottie. It takes an exceptional man to really catch his eyes.

First ,hands down this is quentisential compilation of Tevens genesis and evolution.I will save and re view any time I just want to feel good.My single negative is the producers have give Buck this beautiful story arch and did absolutely nothing to advance it in the penultimate and final episodes of the season.Sadistic!😢 Is anyone else pissed?
A lot of us are dissatisfied with how little they show Buck and Tommy in Season 7, but we understand that Season 7 is shorter than usual due to writers' strike, and other characters' journeys need screen time too. So we'll be patient waiting for Season 8.
When I first saw Buck and after the first episode I loved him immediately. And then after him having a relationship with Abbey I felt really sad how their relationship torn him apart. Then he has feelings for the red hair reporter who I can't remember nor do I ever care to remember her because I did not like her at all in the beginning whatsoever. But then there was how he was an outcast to his family who only created him to save his other brother yet he couldn't help him. Buck found his sister Maddie after she almost died by her abusive ex. Almost died because of a bomber which still took him out of commission for a while from active duty. These whole things made me think "When is Buck gonna catch a break and have a happy ending for once in his life?" Then Tommy came along and I screamed and cried tears of happiness like "FINALLY!" Now he has someone and I hope to god they continue with more emotional moments for Buck to realize that Tommy is his man and he deserves happiness! 🥲🥲🥲
It's amazing how they build this character's journey (kudos to Tim Minear👏👏👏). They have planted hints that Buck might be bisexual since season 1 or 2, especially when Eddie came to the scene. It is mentioned in the conversation between Maddie and Buck that Buck has abandonment issue. And Buck's most serious relationship is with someone older than him (Abby). With all those seeds planted, it feels so natural when Buck falls hard for Tommy.

I recently binged all seven seasons because I kept seeing these Buck and Eddie compilations. Pretty quickly, I realized that I did not want them to get together. While Short, the Buck and Tommy relationship is something I hope gets explored because they have great chemistry.

But Kristen Reidel, the showrunner of Season 3 to Season 6, seemed hesitant to move their relationship forward (or any queer relationships for that matter🙄). After Tim was back in Season 7, he executed his plan to make Buck bisexual, but with a different partner as a twist. Oh, I hope Tommy is the end game for Buck. They look good together. Moreover, we need a representation of strong friendship between male characters which is not romantic, like Buck and Eddie.

I started watching this series just for Eddie and Buck. But unfortunately, it's just a bromance. But Tommy's return made me come back to watch this series. I love Buck, I really liked Tommy. I want more Buck&Tommy
ABC took over and gave us what FOX wouldn’t. I’m so here for it even tho I’m still rooting for Buddie. Hopefully sometime a long the way but this is cute for now lol!
I don't think it was Fox. Fox has Tarlos in 9-1-1: Lone Star since the beginning. I think it was Kristen Reidel, the showrunner of Season 3 to Season 6, who had been queerbaiting fans without making actual progress in any queer relationships on the show or in Buck's bisexual journey.
