It's a pain to use a lower cost seat style bidet with anything besides cold supply lines, with hot you go from cold to scalding, and purpose built mixing valves or that have standard shut-off sized inputs are hard to find and expensive, adjustable safety thermostats to prevent scalding can also be used but unless teed off your sink faucet will never get as hot as you want (they are mostly used for children's sinks and still aren't cheap, plus bad/hard water destroys them)... You can add inline tee's to the hot/cold supply lines with valves to another tee supplying the seat to get a perfect custom mix on the cheap, but you've just added alot of potential leaking of valves really made to be on or off, plus you still have to wait for the hot water to get into the system for your perfect set temperature (assuming you don't have re-circulation systems or very fast on demand hot water, which most home bathrooms don't)... I've done this setup for a friend, but if you want heated hole water you're better off just spending the money on a real hot water bidet seat, which at that cost for the kind of low quality and availability you might as well just get the easy to aquire combo bidet/toilet with reliablen and instant water temperature control... But most people don't like the $800 starter low end price tag! 😉👍

@@berryreading4809 I had no idea how much was involved. I think that I would like to try a "cold" one before going through purchase and install.

@@donwood7700 yeah it's either have a "refreshing experience" dig deep in the wallet for a literal throne to put in your kingdom 🤣 There are some full featured seats and entire toilets for less, but just the Toto water temp adjustable seats are several hundred, full replacements being even more... I think the one in the video is around $100... But known brands like Kohler make hot water mixer seat kits for the $300ish mark, and entire heated bidet comodes for what some Toto seats cost! Just look up the "south park Japanese toilets" and that's basically how the price is justified... It really is quite the experience to use a $2000+ toilet that does basically everything besides put your pants back on and cook for you 🤣👍 If you use one enough regular toilets are just never the same again lol

i still have cases of canning lids i purchased back in 2016, when i brought my wife to America!
having just 3 lids for every canning jar you own only allows you to fill each jar just 3 times.

people the world over just use a pan and a bucket.the bucket is filled with clean water, the longer the water sits in the bucket, the more it acclimates to ambient temperature! the toilets have NO tank to hold water. once you finish pooping you get the pan with some water, put a bar of soap and swish around to make the water soapy. then wash your butt using all the soapy water and your hand, dirty water goes into toilet. get fresh water in pan to rinse off the soapy butt hole . use bucket of water to pour in toilet to flush!

in Asia the girls all wash after even just peeing! yes, the girls smell better down there because they are clean and fresh!!!
bidets are a real pain in the ass!! hotels in some countries have what appears to be a spray nozzle from a kitchen sink as their bidet.
