Word of advice, put the Teflon tape on prior to mounting it if you don’t have enough space between your sink and toilet.
Thank you so much for this clear step by step video! I bought mine 3 years ago and put it off thinking it would be too complicated to install... But your video made it easy peasy. Here's to cleaner booties!
THANK YOU!! Simple, straightforward video with no fluff but just the essential steps and some helpful tips. I made so many mistakes (using wrench, teflon tape counterclockwise, etc.), on my first attempt, prior to your video.
Glad i could help. Enjoy!
Thank you for the video. I was dreading installing this, but it took me no time at all with your step by step video. I found it easier to apply the teflon tape on the splitter T prior to putting it on. I didn't have a lot of room. Easy peasy!
Thanks, I used this as a reference and installed it with no big trouble. It felt good to achieve it.
Thank you so much for this awesome tutorial! I am a woman and just installed this without any issues thanks to this video. I already love it. Appreciate you!
Awesome! So glad i could help. Enjoy!
Thanks for the video tutorial. You made the installation of the bidet quick and easy. Kudos to you!
omg! i just got the biobidet essential and successfully installed it thanks to your thorough step by step video. THANK YOU!!! i feel like a handylady!
Glad i could help!
Thank you for saying hand tight. I kept tightening it with a wrench and broke the ballcock piece inside. Had to buy a new one and then followed your instructions for the bidet and it’s working great. I did tighten a smidge with a wrench on the taped parts like suggested in the comments.
Oof, sorry to hear. But glad u were able to get it installed properly this time!
Thank you forthese great instructions!. This 74 year old female installed from start to finish alone, thanks to your video.Your instructions are perfectly clear and detailed; the video/pictures add to that.
Wonderful! Glad i could help

Excellent video! I followed the instructions step by step, and read everyone's comments and suggestions, and it seems like I have a successful installation... without flooding my downstairs neighbor's apartment! (Will post an update if necessary.)
Very thorough video. I love that you go step by step with clear and precise instructions. I have used this for about 4 months now. It's is an awesome sanitary tool. I forsee most American households using these in the near future.
Glad my video was helpful for you!
Thank u sir. Installed one and instruction were difficult to read with out glasses. This was tremendous help.
Glad i could help!
Thank you kindly Great instructions thank you very much
THANK YOU
THANK YOU
THANK YOU!
I dread doing this kind of Thing. You're video really really helped me a lot thank you very much God bless you
A very helpful video, thanks for taking the time to make it. One thing, you kept emphasizing "hand tight" on the connections. I agree, except for the connectors that you have to wrap with plumbers tape. Sometimes the tape can make it seem as you have screwed it all the way down, but it's not. I recommend using an adjustable wrench and with the slightest pressure turn the nut the same way you were finger tightening. See if the nut moves. If it does you can go back to hand tightening wait for the resistance and try the wrench again. I'm talking 1 or 2lbs of torque. If the nut doesn't move you're good to go.
Glad you enjoyed. Yes, you make a great point. It is difficult to explain how tight to make the fittings, but also did not want people over-tightening. Thank you for pointing out and providing a helpful method! 👍🏻
Very informative! Thank you
Glad i could help
Man you hit it on tha head! Play by play THANKS!!
Excellent content!…I bought this product, so I will install it thanks for your help!
Glad i could help!
Will the toilet seat sit flat? That is my only concern with buying one. I don’t want the toilet seat moving around??
Great video love it ✅ thanks for all your help😊
Glad i could help 👍🏻

One way to reduce the pressure of the water as it's coming out of the nozzle is too flush the toilet first. Then as the toilet tank is filling up with water, go ahead and use the bidet. The water pressure coming out of the bidet will be greatly reduced to a stream instead of a spray.
Cool idea, never thought of that
Super helpful. Mine is arriving today and I will keep this in mind. Thanks for this video and this response.
Do you end up flushing twice then?
@@Muskietooth obviously yeah
I don't have this exact bidet (bought it for someone else though). I have a similar issue with mine with the water pressure being so high. You can try turning down the main water valve to try to get a little less pressure. Worked for me, the water stream wasn't as shocking after that lol

Quiet, easy to control with remote.
Thanks man
Excellent video!!! You did a perfect job. I just installed a refurbished one just like it by Azmkoo, but it has two switches. I have to go back and add the teflon tape. The rubber pads did not fit so I left them out. I just wish I could adjust where it sprays since both nozzles seem to point to the same place.
Glad i could help. Most bidets have a similar setup
@@TofuShop Thanks!!!
Thanks for your informative video. I have an installation problem with the splitter. The connection to my toilet is hidden in behind and is difficult to get to without moving the toilet. I presumed the splitter would be installed down at the connection where it comes out of the wall. Do you know if there any type of splitter that will attach to a standard waterline coming out at the wall?
If you are able to connect the splitter directly to the wall valve, you could install it that way as well if you have enough room. It would look like:
Wall valve -> splitter -> toilet line
Alternatively, Amazon sells short length pvc and braided stainless lines. Search for 'braided toilet line' and a bunch of options will come up. Alternative setup that may work for you would be:
Wall valve -> new toilet line -> splitter
Both options should work the same way in filling the tank and feeding the bidet
Great video! One question; all my connections seem correct, no leaks. But even though bidet works, when it is off, toilet tank does not refill. It was working fine before installing bidet.
Thanks! Hm, that sounds odd. The bidet works so that means the valve from the wall is turned back on, correct? Inside your toilet tank is a lever that moves up/down when a floating piece raises/lowers based on the height of the water. Can you check if it is maybe stuck in the 'up' (off fill) position?
Shock factor :)
Don’t be like me and turn your parts in the wrong way. Today I learned plumbing things are lefty tightly, righty loosey 😅
Great video and instructions...Just tried to turn on the water, and it leaks from the top (which you say to hand tighten--no wrench) as well as the bottom of the splitter (also only hand tightened)> Should I use a wrench?
Did u use teflon tape to make sure there are no leaks? If u use a wrench, it may overtighten and crack/snap
my t valve will not connect to the toilet tank, and when it does connect it is on crooked and leaks water. what do i do?
Did you try using teflon tape to prevent leaking? Make sure you screwed it on straight
Thank you for showing us where to use the Teflon tape. It is nowhere in the manual other than being listed in the parts list.
Glad to hear my video was helpful for you!
So I've got it all hooked up correctly. But for some reason when it is hooked up the connection to the water valve itself will leak enough to notice and doesn't seem to leak when the line is just connected to the toilet tank itself. I'm unsure what to actually do about it. The valve connection is similar to your setup with the exception being my spout is pointed down as your example the spout is pointed up. I attempted to take the line off by hand but it was pretty tight, But I'm not sure if I should take it off at all. I was thinking if I did that, maybe I could put teflon tape on the spout and then place the line back on to see if that might be the reason. Any advice would be super helpful. 🤷♂
I would definitely add teflon tape. Sounds like there is a leak through the threads. (Direction of the valve doesn't matter if sealed properly). If teflon tape doesnt fix the leak, you may have a faulty hardware and would request exchanging it. Hope that fixes your issue, good luck!
Does this sit flat on the toilet? That’s the only thing holding me back I keep seeing ones that make the seat move please help anyone thanks ???
Great vid!
I tried installing this today. I have a water line coming up from the floor and a plastic nut. It leaked at the T adapter a little and the air when I tried the bidet. So then I wrench tightened the and nuts and it made it worse. Took it apart, back together twice, leaks. Gave up and put it back to they way it was - and now have leak at the toilet. Have to get a plumber to fix. Expensive gadget.
Sounds like you may have over tightened it and possibly cracked something. Only need to gently tighten it. Hopefully a cheap replacement part to fix your leak
Same thing happened to me 10 minutes ago. I will have to call a plumber in the morning. This is the worst.
Same happened the me. I stripped the plastic bolt you screw the T-Valve on.
Had to buy a whole new toilet fill valve *just* for that, and installing that, and then the bidet again, afterwards.
Wish me luck...
Very helpful, nowhere in the instructions is the Teflon tape even mentioned
I can not stop it from leaking at the spot below the rubber washer. Any suggestions?
I have a few suggestions:
1- To confirm, if you goto the 3:00 mark in my video, did you install the rubber washer in the correct direction?
2- On the old hose that you are connecting to the new 'T' adapter, clean out the threads on the inside
3- Use teflon tape on the bottom of the 'T' adapter where it is leaking for a tighter seal
If you are still leaking after, the connector on your old hose may be damaged and needs to be replaced, unfortunately. Hope this helps!
I’m having a small leak issue at the splitter right under the nut- when you install the splitter does the it move a bit left to right or does it it to be tight enough to stop moving completely?
The perpendicular piece
It should not move at all. You need to unscrew, make sure both pieces are flush and touching before you tighten. Sounds like you may have force-tightened it and cross-threaded the piece, or you have a faulty piece. You can also try using teflon tape to seal the leak
@@TofuShop does cross threading mean I messed up the connection point on my toilet, or the brass piece?
I also tried the Teflon tape but it didn’t work
@@aftabmian4152 im not sure, you would have to lookat each piece. Try unscrewing, make sure both pieces are tight and flat together, then try retightening. It may fix the cross thread
under the control arm there a drip coming from seems like a compartment door maybe for a battery. Can that be fixed or do I need to return it?
This model is all mechanical and doesnt use a battery. Sounds like the valve that is controlled by the switch may be faulty. Id reach out to customer service

Mine came with spacers and a vague separate instruction sheet. It does feel odd when I am sitting on the toilet, like I'm at an angle. Do I need the spacers?
My video is based on the 'Slim Edge' model and does not affect the angle of the seat. Could be one of two things: 1- do you have the Slim Edge model or a different one? 2- your seat design may be impacting the seat angle
@@TofuShop Yes, it's the Slim Edge (smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CGVBZGL/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1). It could also be because I replaced our previous plastic seat with a wood seat and I need to get used to it.
The instructions didn't mention the teflon tape and I ended up not using it. I don't have any leaks. Should I go back and put some on anyway?
Teflon tape is always recommended when working with plumbing to prevent leaks in the future. The joints are plastic and will contract/expand over time, so even if it doesnt leak now, it may leak in the future depending on the humidify level in your home. I'd add the teflon tape now while the threads are still new and easy to spin
"Shock factor" hahaha!

Mmm I'm not sure about that 'hand tight only' idea on a pressurised water connector, think I'd have nipped it up with the adjustable wrench to be sure 😊
Free to tighten as you like. Just a fair warning because the plastic pieces tend to have hairline fractures and leak due to over tightening. Just a fair warning. Enjoy!
@@TofuShop hence why I said 'nip it up' 😝
My only problem with the installation is that it's difficult to get around back as I got no space
Can you control the water direction?
Not really. There are two nozzle sprayers with slightly different angles. If you turn the knob left it activates one, turn right activates the other in a prefixed angle.
In the user manual it’s said that it comes with 3 toilet bumpers. Did you get them?
My specific model is the slim version that doesnt require bumper spacers, so i did not get any
@@TofuShop Thanks.
I hate these toilet bumpers. Still doesn't raise the seat enough enough. It has to flex when you sit on it.
Shouldve got the slim model but didn't notice it at the time.
I followed your instructions and I still have water spraying everywhere. Now, when I put the regular hose back on it sprays everywhere as well. Did i break something!? Is it too tight! I looked at the pipe coming from the toilet and there wasn’t any cracks on it that i could see. Does having it slightly crooked cause the leak!? Please help.
There's a few things you could check: 1- did you overtighten and crack something? might be hairline fracture somewhere. 2- yes, make sure the hose is lined up flat before you screw it on. if u are only able to screw it barely 1/2 a turn, it isn't on straight. realign it and hold it tight so that it is flush before you start tightening. 3- did you try using teflon tape to prevent leaking? 4- where is the leak coming from?
Mine is doing this as well it is coming from we’re the black rubber piece was put
@@christinaspears2835 is the black rubber piece facing the correct direction (i show in the video which way it should be pointing). Did you make sure you threaded and tightened the joint properly (not diagonal or misaligned)? Did you try using teflon tape to prevent leaking from the threads?
haha the shock factor got me, i saw another model , i think there 2 outlet because the other is meant for female frontal wash ?
Haha, u get used to it. Yes, this model has two nozzles that shoot at different angles/locations for that purpose

Does the toilet seat supposed to fit flesh?
Depending on the shape of your toilet, yes it should. If you have the slim edge model, you dont need a spacer
My splitter connector nut is free and moving. I think I broke it and now I see gap between nut and pipe and water is leaking from there. Where do I get splitter connector? Lowes HomeDepot??
They might have one. If u bought on Amz, could also message customer service for a replacement

Thank you because I have a similar model and the directions were terrible… five pictures and no mention of the tape
The top part of the toilet connector leaks :( I wrapped it in teflon but it still leaks, i think its because the top part of my toilet is made out of plastic? how do I replace that?
Do you mean the connector at the bottom of your toilet tank? Mine is plastic as well. I would check to make sure nothing is cracked
@@TofuShop yes, i gave up ill revisit later lol
what if the t valve wont screw into the toilet?
Check to make sure the two mounting services aligned flat before u try to tighten it. Check this first, because this is probably your issue. The area is tight, so it is a tricky
Is the mount on the toilet damaged at all before removing?
I have a question, after installing this, water is not filling in the flush tank. Any suggestions on that?
Did u turn the water supply back on?
Ofcourse, bidet is working fine but water is not going to the tank for some reason.
Thanks for replying though.
@@sudhanshukhurana3851 i got same issue did u ever finger it out
Is the water really COLD 🥶 ? That’s my only concern.
It does not feel cold to me or my wife. Even in the winter, still feels okay to us. If this is a concern for you, there are other models that connects to a hot water line for a warm spray
Thanks
The top part of the splitter connector keeps leaking for me and idk why. The rubber insert is in the proper direction too… any guesses?
Was it leaking before you removed the hose? You could try using teflon tape for a tighter seal as well. If still leaking, maybe you have a faulty part. Id consider contacting customer service for a replacement. Good luck!
@@TofuShop I think I'm going to try the teflon tape and if that doesn't work it's probably a faulty part
same for me :/ was yours faulty
Same for me. You probably crossthreaded the toilet valve connector and now need a new toilet valve.
Great video thx but i didn’t see you use the bumpers
Which bumpers? This model doesnt come with or need them bc the seat cover is slim
@@TofuShop ok mine seems exactly like yours but comes with bumpers to put under seat
@@ConanNYC oh ok, after you install the seat and if u see a gap, you may need to add stickers depending on the design of your toilet seat cover
@@ConanNYC The manual says.. Use bumpers "If necessary". - Not necessary for me, My seat sits flat.
After connecting the bidet, I turned on my valve. My bowl is full but it sounds like the water is still running. Help
The bidet works independently of your toilet. Your issue sounds like it is related to something inside the tank.
Things to check:
1- Did you remove the lid to see if the tank is actually full?
2- Is the flapper seal at the bottom of your tank loose and letting water leak through?
3- Is the float piece in the tank raising high enough to shut off the fill tube?
Fyi, the running water fills your tank, NOT the bowl. Since we emptied the tank at the beginning of the video, it needs to refill.
Don’t like the gap between the lid and toilet now
Did you get the SlimEdge model or a different one? The SlimEdge one did not cause a gap for me
I've had this one installed for about 3 months it has developed an internal leak inside this knob you turn to spray and leaks on the floor. Disappointing quality
Oof, sorry to hear. Ive had mine installed for over a year and we use it multiple times a day. Zero issues still. You should reach out to their custom support to get a replacement
Seems to me that both nozzles spray exactly the same. There is NO difference.
The angle is sliiightly different
@@TofuShop I can't tell lol

I personally am not found of the idea of it blowing water every where, that's going to do some damage I really don't want to repair, once was enough.
