Johnny 5 is definitely one of the more iconic robots out there! I used to watch this one repeatedly, but I think it waned for me after listening to the El DeBarge song too many times! (Listening to it right now.) Good gosh, I'm back in the 80's again!
Wow. I had not thought about that movie for years! I had graduated HS the year before. I remember me and some coworkers going to the movie and Mexican afterwards. We were all single and young and had a movie night when ever we could together. Such good times!
My husband and I stayed at the house last summer! The owner is also super awesome and a huge Short Circuit fan. We were able to meet him before we left and he shared all kinds of facts and info on the house!

Hello, I just wanted to let you know that at the 26:58 mark of your video when looking into the glass showcase, you can see a little truck. My brother Jorge made that truck out of laminated paper and gave it to the current homeowner. He's actually working on a scale model of the house and property out of laminated paper. He's put a lot of time on so far and looks amazing. I also loved the video you did of The Goonies. Have a great year.

The decade of the 80s was so awesome and this is one reason why I miss it so much because of the movies that economy the patriotism the prosperity and society was much better off and we didn’t have as much technology as we did now which was better for everyone in my opinion because it allowed people to actually talk and socialize in a way that was more personal and individual!
I was a junior in high school when Short Ciarcuit was released in the movie theater and spent date night seeing it opening weekend with my now husband.❤️ We still have the VHS tape of it. Another great one Adam!

The house overlooks the Astoria-Megler Bridge, which is featured in another scene where the robot Number 5 is pushed by a military vehicle and falls off the bridge, leading him to meet Stephanie.
This is so AWESOME! I love this movie. So many funny segments and one liners and great 80's music! My favorite is the reprograming of the robots to be the three stooges. Safe travels Adam!

Short Circuit is a very extremely underrated movie from the 80s along with The Neverending Story, D.A.R.Y.L, and Flight of The Navigator! They should all be as celebrated as Ghostbusters, The Goonies, and the Back to the Future movies!

My buddy owns that house! He put so much work into that place. The railing out side had to be reverse engineered to match the movie. Such a cool place!

My goodness, Astoria is breathtaking...They're all booked up for my birthday week. I'll have to figure out another time. I love this movie, so much so that it's probably also responsible for why --"subconsciously", Wall-E is my personal favorite Pixar film. (I stand by it, Wall-E absolutely looks a LOT like Johnny 5.)
