A few comments on the article as a student of Korindo Aikido who found interest in the history of this martial art: A. Hirai moved to Tokyo and to work for Ueshiba after having his own dojo. B. I have not seen Hirai referring to himself as a student of Ueshiba (this doesn't say he didn't learn anything from Ueshiba). C. The message I got in Korindo was that Hirai moved to the Dai-Nippon-Butokukai in order to become new "section head", and the naming happened after - Hirai was not a representative of Ueshiba.
