There was A LOT more then that missing from the newer film...there is no comparison .... 2019 isn’t even in the same dimension as the warmth, charm and magic of the 1994 film.

Kirsten Dunst was only 11 yrs old when she was in Interview With A Vampire and her had a career and she has the Hollywood Walk Of Fame and she just might win an oscar for Supporting Actress for Power Of The Dog. I think she will win. Kirsten Dunst has been in so many movies and she is amazing. Little Women was such a good movie with Winona Ryder as Josephine March.

Amy played by two actress is what made this movie special, and what was missing big time from the 2019 version.

Yeah and it was also bad in the mini series. Kathryn Newton was playing a young and old Amy. It really didn't work.

Both are such lovely actresses! Together, they played a much more believable Amy March than Florence Pugh!
I’d say Kirsten was better as younger Amy while Florence was better as older Amy than Samantha.
