Devoid of too much electronics. Keeping TIger and Africa Twin aside (they belong to a very different breed). One would always take the motorcycle as a tool rather than a object of creature comfort. The RE Himalayan is the perfect of the lot (BS6 being highly refined and with a departure from the plagued BS3), its devoid of too much electronics, can take a beating, and can be repaired DIY style. plus its economic you don't have to shell too much and be worry free all the time.Remember guys, a motorcycle is a thing of pleasure and not something to be taken care like its your only child. P.S. Saying this cuz i've seen lot of new riders and fanatics spending huge ton of their non disposable income on their machines and not taking advantage of what the machine was built for. Always wear a helmet. keep riding.

As this bike is available with Honda Big Wing only (sales and service both), wouldn't touring be a problem with some places devoid of the wings? 2. Service costs are low in Honda but could you give an estimate for paid services? 3. Can this be a daily driver too? I was looking for Honda CB350 but now considering 500x. 4. In case of damage to the fairing, would repairs be expensive like in Versys? 5. Benelli TRk 502 comes at a lower cost, bigger tank so why not buy that? Plus trk's weight is a big problem for many people. Benelli is more expensive to maintain.
it is overpriced ,it will be as it is what you get internationally , there's a reason why Honda never launched these in the Indian market like the Yamaha after toning down after good vehicle in their portfolio from r15 to the r3... But you do get something good as you buy the bike from a brand that has ruled the charts always

Considering this is the first impression. Could you highlight more on- Mobile charger. Comparison of performance(top end) with other twins like versys, interceptor, ninja. Don't you think that after charging six lac approx honda is giving a bike that is way under powered? If this bike was launched in 2017 then it would have sold out really hot. They took a bargain as their reliability factor is good and this adv segment lacks parallel twins in india. Compared to RE who sell their bikes as lottery tickets( where u hope you get a fault free bike) which end up staying at the garage more than on the road. Would you think that honda is repeating the same mistake bmw did with gsa310?
What's the point in pricing the bike so high. Agree it's a CKD version which makes it costly but at this price point we have so many options from other Japanese manufacturers. This bike is for showroom only.

Price is definitely a factor for this bike. Other than that regarding the CB500x itself - dual purpose tyres would have served the purpose of a more adventure category bike. Regarding the screen - any matte finish mobile screen guard can serve the purpose of reflections from the screen. USB charging point should have been included. Good power to torque ratio for the bike. See Powerdrift ( Shumi review) and Itchy Boots ( Noraly ) review of Ronin. Good bike. Regarding the handling itself, one must train properly in order to skillfully handle a bike.

In my rider group three of them bought the bike. We live in the same area but 1 of them got it from a different showroom. All three bikes have self start issue. All three bikes have done approx 180 to 200km. If you buy RE it's a lottery. Apke L lagne me bas dhai lakh ki doori hai
