    As far as I’m concerned, this is every bit as good as the live stream, which I usually couldn’t catch live anyway. And if you’re happier and less stressed, I’m happier too.

    Wrapping a small coin around your cloth will give you a nice sun,tfs very pretty.

      Maria Kellner I actually think that would make the sun look less natural and too round. The way she did it here softens the edges of the sun and makes it look like parts of the sun is behind cloud.

    I don’t understand why anyone would give you a thumbs down. Must be trolls. Know they are undeserved! Nice work, Lindsay, thank you again for continuing just watercolour tutorials. ❤️🎨😊🤗🙏🕊🎄 love real time videos. Happy Christmas, Lindsay.

    • @natford8271

      Joy Sawyer the thumbs down might be people that see a whole 24 set of colours and neither watched the whole video nor read the description.

    • @joysawyer9506
      @joysawyer9506 6 лет назад

      Nat Ford I just think it is mean spirited. If you don’t like something, bypass it, no need to be negative unless someone has done something illegal, immoral or unkind, not because you don’t like something she was doing. For example, I just like the plain, full length watercolour tutorials but I wouldn’t 👎🏻 because Lindsay added, for example, coloured pencil or pastel. I would give her a 👍🏻 and message her my preference. That way, IMHO, is kinder and it lets Lindsay know if I like it or not. She works so hard and offers her lessons for free, at least be courteous. If you don’t like it, just don’t watch it.

    • @natford8271
      @natford8271 6 лет назад +1

      Joy Sawyer I’m the same. I was just supplying one feasible explanation.

    • @joysawyer9506
      @joysawyer9506 6 лет назад

      Nat Ford it’s all good, Nat. No worries.

    • @joannecarroll5504
      @joannecarroll5504 6 лет назад +2

      @Joy Sawyer - it could be a simple misunderstanding - since YT doesn't give clear instructions about anything, it could be as simple as people trying to get things that they aren't into, to stop constantly appearing in their recommended list. Maybe they're just not into art & as we know, YT pays no attention anyway when you say "not interested" in watching certain things.

      Grace, I hope you will love watercolor as much as I do! I've tried to never give advice unless asked,but....I feel compelled because you are in the early stages.It is a fickle medium that does not come easy! You are smart to have watched so many videos from Lindsay,she is a wonderful artist! Please don't be too hard on yourself when it does not go the way you want.I still get frustrated after twenty years!!!! My last bit of advice ,Do Not Get Caught Up In the current trend to buy everything ! Please watch Lindsay"s last card frustration video and read just a few of the comments to see what I am warning against! It crosses over all mediums .Good luck with your new hobby and Happy New Year!

    I would buy the rag by itself lol (don't need the paint). Great work! I find I'm more comfortable with a large round (16, 18 or larger) or angle (3/4-1") so this could be a fun practice to work with that square edge; particularly in skies, I find I get streakiness if I use a large flat.

    I wanted to add that I have purchased from Arteza - shipping is usually free and after you purchase from them, they do offer coupons - I have usually purchased the 100% cotton pads (regularly $24.99) for $20 with no shipping. Without doing price comparison - can't say for sure if this is a good deal. They do ship quickly which is great if you are in a hurry.

      I rinsed the cloth out when I was done. It cleaned my paint palette really well too! I think there is a bit of staining but I would have used at least 3 paper towels lifting and cleaning and this cloth was great, maybe soap wuld have removed the staining, it dosn't bother me tho:)

      the mail polish was an experiment, I painted them red and lat it dry til tacky and brushed on duo red-blue pearl ex mica powder and then a clear coat on top. Unfortunately my active crafty lifestyle had them chipped in 2 days but I will try it again for sure!
