Mike Skill is the founding lead guitarist and major songwriter for the garage rock, new wave and power pop band, The Romantics. The Romantics were formed in 1977 in Mike’s hometown area of Detroit. He's been in Portland since 1987. In the band with Mike at the BBQ: Rob Sullivan on Harmonica and percussion, Justin Matts on Drums, Kerry Movassagh on Bass and Dan Schauffer on Saxophone.
