It's good that the Trumptonshire Trilogy, Portland Bill, Bertha, Charlie Chalk, TUGS, Joshua Jones, Theodore Tugboat, and Star Hill Ponies all steered clear of into the CGI reboot trap which Noddy, Postman Pat, Thomas the Tank Engine, Fireman Sam, and Bob the Builder all failed to avoid.

I don't hate the CGI series, I actually think that while it is not the perfect version of Fireman Sam, I usually have found a lot of the earlier CGI stuff entertaining. Probably because I'm a different generation from you, the CGI series has really changed in my view, as nowadays the series just isn't Fireman Sam anymore. The series just used to be about some guy called Sam who worked for the fire service, and the CGI series at first kept that intact, but no it's all about the "rescue team." There were simple stories in early CGI like Cry Fox and Double Trouble that you would never get nowadays. Sam is hardly even the main character in newer CGI episodes, as they are trying to be "politically correct" and make Sam and Penny the main characters. I liked some of the CGI characters, like Charlie, Derek, Radar and Moose, but then they are characters like Mrs. Chen who are terrible.
When looking back at the Cgi Series, the animation and the character models in season 6-7 Looks like an animation test and 3d models made by a kid who discovered Blender, but no offence to Chinese people but at least they did they’re best at animating. But I still Love Norman Price but not the cgi one, I find Norman in the stop motion series to be the misunderstood character to the viewers because he is considered as the most hated characters but in the cgi series and not in the stop motion series. So he was the first character to have his reputation ruined, The second being The Banana Splits with the horror movie and jellystone, And the third being The Cattanooga Cats also with Jellystone, and I thing that I find that sometimes shows should be put to rest and let the fandom make there own stories on them which doesn’t involve a character getting killed, transformed into a food or an inanimate objct or tortured corrupted like The Banana Splits in some fan art or videos or fanfictions, Or Someone locking a character in the changing rooms on purpose! So in conclusion, I’m giving the cgi series a 3/10. And I give Cgi Norman or as I like to call him "Satan Price" A 0/10. If you want to see a more likeable Norman, I recommend the Season 1-5 Version of Norman from the Stop Motion series at least he is better than the Cgi one.
I personally regard Series 4 as the best series. It's only 8 episodes long but every episode is written so well, Norman is not the main focus, except for one episode where he saves Trevor's life. We had episodes like 'Deep Trouble For Sam' and 'Steele Under Par' that were so unique. I know so many love series 5 for the animation quality, but the stories aren't THAT interesting.

@@RandomGuy-qh7tl I can agree with that
I don't hate the CGI Series,I watch Series 5 & CGI Series buth all the Shows go Downhill,when Mattel make them First Bob the Builder,than Thomas the Tank engine & than Fireman Sam with season 15
He looks very cross does John Sparkes on the picture. As I have said Joshua Jones was boring, the theme tune was very relaxing as it was Ilkley Moorish style.
I love Joshua Jones!
@@bazbanter9329 Mr Cashmore was like Mr Salt as he was a spoiling dad.
This is a perfect finale to the series, tbh the current state of the CGI series has now made me very close to disliking it. I will be giving season 16 a chance but if it's worse than season 16 then I will just stick to the stop motion era.
I grew up on the CGI series, and I can say for certain that the CGI series is objectively bright colored slop. I think children deserve good content and the CGI show is definitely not it.
I watched the classic series multiple times, I could only watch about 5 minutes total of the CGI series.
Thanks for giving a non biased critique on the CGI series. I have many comments from CGI fans saying they love it because they grew up with it. I have to explain why I think the original version is the best without being biased myself as I grew up during the original era
finally, someone said it.HIT ruined everything and another children'sTV classic. the CGI is cheaper rubbish, the voices are annoying, 98% of the characters are brain-dead stupid. it has lost all of the charm.
Yes 100%
@bazbanter9329
personal, I think the only original puppet show to be made in a CGI version was Captain Scarlet. most likely because Gerry Anderson, the creator of the original version also did the CGI version as well.
