I just had a pop-up on my television asking for aGalaxy, I assume telephone, to connect to my smart TV. I turned my television off. When I turned it back on the request was gone. I followed your instructions but when I got to the end there was no other device there for me to deny the access. do they have to be first given permission to access and then denied? I don’t want to give anyone permission.

Thry dont need permission to access, I just had one connect without being in front of my TV even tho is asked for password or to scan the code, they still was able to connect to the new lg tvs with the smart remote, our tvs are dangerous as they have no way to block this at all!

Go to your general settings>external device manager>device connect manager>access notification
That should take care of it.

If u have the new smart lg tv from 2024 or 2023 the settings don't let u stop or block or turn off Bluetooth.
