What is the file format that can be exported to the engraving machine, and what are the appropriate design programs? I used Corel Draw, but file is not accepted DXF
You can use the engraving software in the USB flash disk provided by us, LaserGRBL for laser software and Candle for tool engraving. Laser engraving is relatively simple. The image can be carved when it is opened. The Candle software for tool engraving is a. nc file format that executes G code. You can download ArtCAM software online, convert the image or CAD file into G code file, and then use the provided Candle software to realize relief or cutting
Looks simple enough, just waiting for mine to show up. Had to search for "3018 CNC engraving" to find this vid. Got a better idea how to use it now.

I couldn't find any difference in their parameters beyond the obvious 2cm. The gantry, though, looks different. Has the rigidity improved, perhaps?
Hello, I'm using Fusion 360 (using grbl postprocessor), but the machine suddenly stops randomly while reading the gcode, no error message, the machine suddenly stops whit the spindle on and keeps the movement until it hits something, I have to manually disconnect the USB and turn the machine off, as the controls in candle are not working

Could that be these files missing on the SD-Ram card, I have the same issue:
There are two special files which should be located in the root directory of the SD Card, these are used by functions in the Control menu. These are probe.txt which is used by the Probe function and Spindle Laser.txt for the Spindle/Laser function, these are provided on the included SD card. These files are vital to the operation of your offline controller and should never be removed or altered unless specifically told to.
Hi VEVOR, i am about to buy this CNC machine, i guess laser machine can also cut thin and soft woods like 4mm balsa, is that right ? i Also want to ask if its possible to cut wood (with milling spindle) of 12mm depth.
One last question, are all the electronic included ? i mean, if i mount it, can I begin to practice on first day ? or i would have to learn about mechanical and software settings ?

The technician replied that this machine is a basic model without a laser head. The 15W laser can cut light wood boards of about 4mm, and the 12mm wood boards cannot be cut by laser. It needs to be processed by the CNC milling cutter of the machine. Our products will be equipped with detailed instructions.

i bought this machine . it comes in 100 parts that needs ti be out together. Once you overcome this challenge u will figure out there are no proper instructions to use and configure. it s not plug and plat it is tricky ....and I am not sure how it will turn out in the end

Way more DYI than I was expecting, I managed to get it built and it works, kind of. I loaded the test patterns they give you and tried the iphone one but it doesn't space out letters properly and its very shallow. Did you get yours working?

Can you program with the offline controller?
The machine cannot be programmed with the offline controller, only the files can be copied to the TF card of the offline controller for processing. The offline controller controls the movement of the machine, adjusts files and other basic uses.
