The next gen of the nutube pedals should come with digital IR/digital cab sim. The cab sim on the current pedals is just an analog EQ type cab sim, I think. Only mentioning this because the Fuel Injector here is plugged into the silk drive and that's what kind of cab sim we are hearing in this video.
@@endezeichengrimm Vox Cambridge 50, Clubman 60 and VX50GTV all have Nutube plus modeling and effects etc. But the Vox MV50 Clean with the little cab does NOT suck.
Well, with that styling it might cut in front of the Grey Korg one on my list. So far I have only obtained the Red Harmonic Distortion*. I keep having to buy amps that cost as much as ten pedals. Even a couple that cost as much as Klons, I just have a limited budget, but 2025 is looking better. *three more of those wanted, actually, its complicated..
Already had some Nutube pedals, but they did not really convince me much. This one seems to sound nice here, really awesome also not, but maybe I give it a chance.
@@ryanteacher8134 Korg Nu-Tekt OD-S and TR-S. The 1st generation Valvenergies I did not try, as the demos did not convince me so much and at this time I still had some Vox Tone Garage pedals with real tubes, which I liked more. I like the Nutube idea, but up to now I have not found a product with them, which really seriously can compete with classic tube gear circuits soundwise. Also some gimmicks like the visual display are not very interesting for me. Another aspect, all Nutubes sound the same, opposite to classic tubes, where I can replace them with different types or brands, to get slightly different sounds.
@@HEZ63 I haven't tried any of the nu-tube vox ones. I think the demos don't do them justice, because like in this video, they are using the cab sim on them. The cab sim on them, as far as I know, is just a simple EQ cab sim. Not a true one. I have the yellow Vox Tone Garage valve boost pedal (flat 4, I think the name is). It's an excellent boost pedal, and it even works as a fantastic drive.
That's a really smooth sounding distortion character. Sounds great! Maybe a bit Blues Breaker-esque, but with more gain.
I love these Vox pedals, the sound, the look, the screen is super cool. Really adds to my sound and the look on my pedalboard. Love my Copperhead!

Sounds great
Sounds awesome!! By the way, what pickups you have in that guitar?
Is it possible to use the Link input to turn the pedal on and off with a MIDI relay switcher?
What amp were you using? Sounds great and is versatile with both humbuckers and single coils
He uses the silk drive as an amp sim (unfortunately)
Can you make an accessible amp with Nutube? Something that will compete with the Katana/Catalyst/Orange Crush/Marshall DSL etc...
They do. Vox MV50 series, Mini Super Beetle, and the MVX150.
@@darwinsaye I've seen that. It sucks. We need a combo. Something that can rival the Katana/Catalyst/Orange Crush/Marshall DSL etc...

@@everope It has to be an all in one combo with some real tone controls. bass mid and treble. That tiny little thing sucks.

Which one did you have?

Lol man what happened to the new line of hand-wired amps?! Nobody cares about NuTube pedals 😂
Just be patient. NAMM 2025 is coming up. They might announce something exciting there ... and then never mention it again.
You mean YOU don‘t. I think the mystic edge is nice as a preamp and this one sounds great aswell
I need this. Just sayin
